Greek Apulian red-figure neck-amphora, 340 - 300 BC

A fully intact Greek Apulian red-figure neck-amphora, circa 340-300 BC. Decorated on both sides with a female head. Large volutes and various other filling ornaments below the handles. Height: 18.8 cm. Diameter across top: 7.9 cm. Diameter of base: 6.0 cm. Excellent condition, without restorations. A tiny chip to the rim of the mouth, another below the base rim. Minor calcareous deposits and etched root marks to the surface. Ex German private collection.
