18th Century milk glass beaker, Spanish King Carlos III

Opaque white glass (" lattimo ") beaker with very rare enamel painted decoration of the crowned coat of arms of Carlos III de Borbón, King of Spain from 1759 - 1788. Above a row of three flower sprigs is written in black capitals VIVA CARLOS III. The beaker dates from circa 1760 - 1788 and was probably manufactured by Bohemian glass makers for the Spanish market. Height: 9 cm. Diameter across top: 7.9 cm. Diameter of base: 5.5 cm. Rough pontil scar and some old use wear to the base. Excellent intact condition.
