Fine Greek Apulian black glazed olpe, 4th C. BC

A fine Greek Apulian black glazed olpe with vertically ribbed body, circa 350 BC. The transition between shoulder and neck is marked with a finely decorated thin "rope". Two-fold vertical handle. Lustrous black glaze with etched root marks in places. Height: 11.3 cm. In excellent condition. Small and hardly visible professional repair to the rim. No cracks. Dutch art market.
