Roman glass sprinkler juglet, 2nd - 4th C. AD

Roman glass sprinkler juglet. Eastern Mediterranean manufacture (Syria-Palestina), 2nd - 4th century AD. Extremely thin-blown green color glass of elegant shape with applied vertical handle and a single horizontal string below the lip. Narrow opening inside transition of body and neck. Kick-up base with rough pontil scar underneath. Height: 11.4 cm. In perfect condition. Purchased on the Dutch art market.
