We are devoted to offering the finest, personal selection of vintage Mexican silver from the Masters of the Silver Renaissance in Taxco (Spratling, Aguilar, Pineda, Margot, Los Castillo), from Mexico City (Matilde Poulat and Fred Davis), and from the lesser known or unattributed (and often unsung) silver artisans. The Patina collection also includes an interesting selection of works in a variety of the Mexican popular arts. At any time, these might include vintage tourist pottery from Tlaquepaque and Tonala, popotes (straw art), trees of life, Mescal monkeys and other vintage Mexican ceramic pieces. We strive to work with each of our clients in an atmosphere of support, knowledge, and personal attention.
A walk through our gallery offers each visitor an opportunity to view and purchase wonderful and unique works of art from the Americas. Our collection emphasizes vintage Mexican silver jewelry from the Masters (Maestros) of Taxco and Mexico City.
