| Very early piece of tourist pottery from Tonala. Opaque style wedding pitcher features the classic graphics of the house in the country on one side and country villager out among the cactus and agave on the other side. Strong accents design brilliantly done in the familiar colors of many of Mexico's 1940s tourists -- namely US travelers. Stands 6 3/4" high (to the handle) and measures 5 1/2" across. Bears an early impress of MADE IN MEXICO. A wonderful ca. 1930s piece in very good vintage condition. | |||||||
