| Magnificent Vintage Mexican Silver Necklace with Turquoise Cabochon by Matilde Poulat. Front design element features a stylized butterfly (or moth) created out of repousse and silver chasing and then fully backed. Generously sized green to blue turquoise stone. Necklace completed with a triple strand of graduated, hand made beading. Intricate, beautiful close, also with turquoise embellishments, inspired by colonial jewelry of Mexico. Circa 1930s. Bears earliest Matl block hallmark and 900 silver. In very good vintage condition, measuring approximately 19" long. Richly patinated. One of the singularly most beautiful creations from Matilde Poulat. | |||||||||
