| Lovely, vintage Mexican silver amethyst necklace with matching amethyst earrings. This quite lovely set is done very much in the style of a larger scale Fred Davis piece. 11 central circular links are embellished with generously sized, bezel set amethyst cabochons. Back links of necklace are also of a classic style found on necklaces by Fred Davis. Matching screwback earrings are slightly smaller in scale while still being of generously and fully cut. These earrings may very well be "that perfect" pair of earrings that work with almost all pieces of vintage Mexican silver. All pieces of this ca. 1930s-early 40s set are in very good vintage condition and are hallmarked sterling and Mexico. Necklace measures a very comfortable 20" long, with front discs being just under 1" across. A very nice set of vintage Mexican silver, in a wonderful larger scale. | |||||||||||
