| Vintage Mexican silver and onyx (or possibly obsidian) bracelet with strong, dramatic, modern design. This ca. 1940's-50's bracelet reminds one of the geometric and modern inspired work of Fred Davis, Antonio Pineda and Enrique Ledesma. Onyx (or possibly obsidian) is unified into a silver to create two lines of seamless lines of black stone accent at the top and bottom. Large and sculptural in effect, most likely created by a box like construction. In very good vintage condition with the exception of a chink to one area (as photographed.) (The piece is overall so strong that we decided this was acceptable.) Hallmarked "Mexico, Sterling, Taxco, 925". Measures 7 1/2" by 1" wide by 3/4" deep. | ||||||||||
