Of exceptionally large size, this tin glazed tankard is German, likely Nuremberg from the mark on the base, and is mounted in pewter, also marked on the interior of the lid. Measuring 11" high, it is very well painted with foliate designs surrounding a medallion or crest depicting a scene of buildings. Over a slip of grayish white, the decoration is done in varying shades of blue, green, yellow, and orange, with magenta or black outlines...

Measuring 13 1/2" in diameter, and 2 1/8" high, this Delft charger dates to the mid eighteenth century and is decorated in floral, foliate, and pomegranate motifs, all in a very deep blue. The back has the remnants of a wax stamp, E. Owens Antiques, a well known antiques dealer in Liverpool England who specialized in fine antique ceramics. The edge has some slight roughage, with a loss approximately 3/8" wide, clearly visible in the photos, with no breaks or hairlines.

Measuring 2 7/8" across the lid (3 1/4" including the hinge and pearl knob), this porcelain box is finely hand painted with rose and leaf links forming a chain around the side and on the lid. The porcelain is unmarked, and the silver is signed "Saint Yves Paris" on the silver rim of the box, and the silver rim on the lid has two small touch marks. The silver is stamped with a ribbon design on both rims and on the top, and there are a dozen pearls set into the silver...
