A good cleaning could remove the excess adhesive, which would improve the surface. No chips, and only slight abrasions to the glaze...

On a 30" hand made silver chain, this pectoral cross is Byzantine in style, and exhibits considerable wear, as do the Greek coins attached. The coins bear the head of King Otto, and are likely those minted in his honor in 1833. The cross may be earlier, and also is similar to Russian crosses of the 17th and 18th centuries. One of the coins is a 1/2 drachma, the other two 1/4 drachmas. There is tarnish on the chain, the cross, and coins, but the patina of the old silver is evident.
