In simple yet refined and elegant form, this vermeil silver ecclesiastical chalice retains the original paten, and original gilding. With hallmarks indicating 19th century France (punch Minerva, triangular makers mark, and other unclear mark), the chalice measures 9 3/4" high with a base of 6" in diameter, and weighs approximately 13 ounces. In very good condition, with very minor scuffs and tiny dents, the gilding is uniform (more loss to paten), with very strong color in the cup...

Decorated in an ornate, Rococo style, this shaker or caster measures 5 1/8" high and is stamped "Germany 800" on the base. An ovoid form on fluted base, each of the four panels on each side depict floral and foliate designs in cartouches, with cross hatching and stipling details. Measuring just over 16" high, this hot water urn is Sheffield plate, or silver over copper, with ebony finial and spigot handle, and the legs and spigot are brass. With beautiful looped handles and tapered fluted legs on paw feet, this urn is classic in form and design.
