Measuring 10" high, with square bases measuring just over 4", with scalloped corners, this pair of 19th century Russian candlesticks have robust turnings and are cast in two pieces, the turned stem visible from the bottom. Very heavy, weighing 7 pounds, they retain a nice soft patina, with verdigris visible on the bases. There is some slight variation in the turnings of this pair, and the lip of one of the sticks is slightly thicker than the other, visible in photos...

Of stamped silver, with handmade chains and other small pendants, this Chinese silver piece would make a lovely necklace, and is a traditional item in Chinese culture. The top piece features a group of immortals around a plaque with Chinese calligraphy, with five chains below, each with a piece of fruit, including the hand of buddha and citrus. The back of the pendant has an applied hallmark. The total length is 6 3/4" and the flat pendant is 2 3/8" x 1 5/8"...

Chinese embroidered civilian rank badge, depicting white crane in roundel, in a border of bats and Chinese symbols. The badge measures 7 3/8" x 7 7/8" and is in a frame measuring 11 1/2" x 11 3/4"...

Measures 9 1/2" high, and roughly the same from tip of spout to end of handle, base is 5 1/2" wide and 4 1/4" deep. Beautifully engraved with foliate and scrolling designs, an oval cartouche on each side. Beading at base and top, bone finial, bone inserts on handle. Handle wobbles a bit, but is firmly affixed with visible wire. Lid fits tightly, no leaks or damage. Base is well marked, and appears to date the piece to the period between 1842 and 1864...

Constructed of hand hammered brass, and fastened together with metal pegs, this vase is hexagon in shape, with wide lip and base. It measures 8" high, 5 7/8" across at widest point, and the base is 4 1/8" across. Signed on the base with a conjoined W W mark, with another line that could be an F. Measures just under 5" high, and is roughly 2 1/2" wide, with lid attached by a chain. The lid has a hole for insertion of bombilla. Ovoid form, with etched designs in bands, simple foliate and geometric designs, with textured backgrounds. The feet are delightful, three human legs with boots, a very unusual base.
