This is an exceptionally fine yoni, of great size and beautifully crafted. It measures 22" long, 9" wide, and is 6 1/2" high. Heavy weight, 10 pounds. Pair of silver candlesticks, ca 1890, by Herman Sudfeld, fully marked with .800 silver standard and Sudfeld's name and monogram. Measure 16" high, 35 troy ounces. Measuring 7 1/2" from beak to tail and 5 1/4" high to top of crest, this bronze is in excellent condition, with all the origonal paint. The detail in both the casting and paint is very fine, and the figure is life size and life like. It is signed on the belly and tail with Bergmann's "B" in an urn, with the Austria stamp, and KF in a diamond lozenge. In addition, on the tail, the mark of Carl Kauba is also stamped, which is unusual, and may have been done for marketing purposes...

Measuring just under 8" high, and 12" including the wood stand, this Santo head is exceptionally well carved, with fine detail and life like features to the face. The eyes are cast upward, and the pupils are carved in a concave manner. Most of the face and beard retain the original gesso and paint, with more loss to the back of the head, and most of the paint in the eyes is gone. Fine quality and nice detail, it is probably Continental in origin.
