Designed by Hattie Carnegie, this unusual metal pendant is comprised of five segments that form a heart shape, and has a coppery surface, with some spots of verdigris. The pendant was originally attached with a simple wire strand, but was damaged and replaced with a variety of green stone beads, some of which appear to be moss agate. Measuring roughly 1 3/4" in diameter, in a reticulated lobed form, and affixed with a silver pronged bracket which clasps the ceramic, this brooch is modernist in style, and was likely the work of a studio jeweler of the mid 20th century era. The clasp is a simple C clasp, with no safety catch, and there are no markings on the metal support. In good condition, with some slight wear to a few high spots on the top of the brooch, and one of the pointed brackets is missing on the front...

Nicely designed and well executed, this bracelet contains 20 turquoise stones of varying color, all cut in a diamond shape and set into bezels in a shadow box form. The interior measurement of the bracelet is 5", the opening is 1 1/4", and it is slightly under 1" high. It is silver, though unmarked, with the letters e (or a) v z r lightly scratched into the surface on the interior. It was purchased in the southwest in the 1950's, and is in excellent condition.

Measuring 27" long, this strand of branch coral is comprised of heavy pieces of coral, with good deep natural color. The longest piece measures 1 3/8" and many pieces are 1" or more, most being fairly thick. There is no clasp, as it is long enough to slip over the head. The stringing thread appears to be red silk, and the age is unknown. This is a striking necklace, with beautiful rich color and wonderful size.

In sterling silver, by the Otis Jewelry Company, this rectangular brooch depicts four blossoms or buds over an open work foliate background, and measures slightly under 2" by 1", weighs 8 pennyweights and has a C clasp with safety catch. Lovely arts and crafts design, with fuschia like flowers and a lovely soft patina, the brooch is typical of design of the early 20th century, made famous by jewelers like George Jensen, and Kalo Silver,among many others.

Set in vermeil silver, with Birmingham hallmarks for sterling, this black basalt medallion features the "Horse Startled by Lion" black basalt Wedgwood plaque, this one slightly less detailed than original, and smaller. The pendant measures 1 1/4" x 1 1/8" and is in excellent condition, no breaks or losses, and the vermeil is also intact, with a soft gold luster. The date letter is not clear, but it is likely from the era 1900- 1920...

Of most unusual form, this bright green rope beaded necklace measures 39" and is comprised of a seed beaded rope with 14 interlocking beaded loops (each measuring 1 1/2" to 1 3/4"). It is likely of European origin, and may be of Secessionist design, but is clearly of the period before 1940. In excellent condition, it is a very striking necklace with great color and form, and looks beautiful when worn.

Measuring 18 1/4", including clasp, this necklace is comprised of faceted cherry amber beads separated by smaller faceted jet spacers. The amber beads vary slightly in size, as they are hand cut, and appear to be approximately 8-10 mm in size. The clasp is unmarked. The color of the amber is nicely contrasted with the darker jet beads. Note that the photos taken with flash show a lighter, brighter color, as they would appear in strong light.

Silver vermeil filigree surrounds a deeply colored coral cabochon, on this nicely detailed brooch, with a hallmark indicating Genoa, Italy. It is stamped "800" along with GE and what appears to be the numbers "111". It measures 1 3/4' by 1 3/8" and has a tubular clasp. There is some wear to the gold on the top of the brooch, visible on the raised beads, but the rest of the brooch is bright and in excellent condition.

An early silver brooch from Taxco, Mexico, this piece is stamped "980 Taxco' and has a simple wire and C closure. It measures 2 1/2' wide and 1" deep and is set with an oval turquoise stone. Good condition, some tarnish on silver and some bends in the wire clasp, it is a nice example of early 20th century Taxco silver design.

This is a nice and early Navajo ring, made for wear by native Americans, with simple stamping on the sides, two beads on the face between the turquoise and coral stones set in heavy bezels. It is slightly out of round, measures 1" high, is size 10 1/2", and is not marked (the darker spots on the interior are not hallmarks, but appear to be from the original casting)...
