Created of twisted wire, with a black coating over the figure and an orange parasol, this sculpture is Signed "Bert Schwartz, '66 and is mounted on a marble cube. It measures 18" high, including base, and depicts a woman carefully balancing herself, with one arm holding an umbrella and the other outstretched. Well done, it has a lot of energy and is interesting from all sides. Schwartz was apparently an artist from Ohio, with some anecdotal information available online.
