Measuring 2 7/8" in diameter and 1 1/4" high, this hexagonal box is decorated in millefiori design over a white ground, with a scrolled wire design on the base. The metal edges appear to have been silvered, which is worn, particularly on the top. There is some pitting, more visible on the white ground, but no chips or cracks. The interior is lined with red velvet, and is likely a jewelry box...

This is a lovely grouping of alabaster stone fruit, including three bunches of grapes, which are hard to find. There is a fig, another fig (or small pear), and a large lemon, all in subdued and soft colors. The grape clusters include two of amber color, and are slightly translucent, and one dark, like Concord grapes, and they are all held on actual grape vine stalks. No chips or cracks, and a few of the grapes have slight discoloration...

Dating to the mid 20th century, from 1940-1960, burnished wares of this type were created in Tonala, Jalisco Mexico. Near the larger town of Guadalajara, small pueblos became known for the fine workmanship and charming motifs, with Tlaquepaque and Tonala being significant centers for exceptional pottery. This vase measures 8 3/4" high, and is 4 1/4" in diameter at the base. It is stamped "made in Mexico" in a cartouche, which is a typical mark...

This print of Mt. Fuji from Lake Kawaguchi is by Tsuchiya Koitsu, the original produced in 1936. Designed by Hans Stangl for the Rosenthal Porcelain Factory, this figure was one of several designed by him in sleek modernist style, and executed with a prominent crackle glaze between 1953 and 1956. It measures 6 1/8" high x 5 3/8" wide and depicts a very abstracted seated figure. It is signed with both the Rosenthal and the Studio Linie marks. In perfect condition.

Of nice size, measuring 9 1/2", and fairly heavy, this ovoid bronze vase features finely executed designs in the Chinese archaic style, and has a very dark green mottled patina to complement the style. Bird figures are facing one another on each side, and two abstract heads are placed between the sides. The wide band around the birds and mounts are filled with geometric designs in a greek key motif. Unsigned, it likely dates to the early to mid 20th century, though could be a bit earlier...

From a collection of asian pottery, including both Japanese and Chinese, these five miniatures include two baskets, a sake cup, a water dropper and small vase. The white glazed sake cup has a deeper colored terracota clay body and an incised mark, measuring just under 2 1/4" at the widest point and 1 3/4" high. The round Oribe style basket is also of dark earthenware. Three of the other forms have a light ink stamp "Japan" on the base, though is worn on some...
