This print of Mt. Fuji from Lake Kawaguchi is by Tsuchiya Koitsu, the original produced in 1936. It is signed by the artist, the publisher, the carver and has the watermark of Doi, all shown in close up images. It measures roughly 11 1/4" by 16 3/4" and is matted and framed in contemporary materials, though it can be shipped without frame to save on cost. The image is crisp and clear, done in very lovely muted colors, to demonstarte the soft hues of morning...

Of nice size, measuring 9 1/2", and fairly heavy, this ovoid bronze vase features finely executed designs in the Chinese archaic style, and has a very dark green mottled patina to complement the style. Bird figures are facing one another on each side, and two abstract heads are placed between the sides. The wide band around the birds and mounts are filled with geometric designs in a greek key motif. Unsigned, it likely dates to the early to mid 20th century, though could be a bit earlier...

It is 22" high, 12 1/2" wide, and approximately 10" deep. There are lug rings on the sides, to which a leather cord is attached (cord is broken) and holds two pinkish Chinese glass beads...

Measuring 13 1/4" high x 9 1/2" wide, this porcelain rooster or cockerel is decorated in famille verte colors, with the body of the bird in rich yellow. The detail in the porcelain modeling is well done, with glazes in yellow, brown, and green, with black detail in the eyes. With two impressed marks on the base, it dates to the early 20th century, either late Qing or early Republic. The comb has been broken and reglued, as is visible on the close up photo of the head...

From a collection of asian pottery, including both Japanese and Chinese, these five miniatures include two baskets, a sake cup, a water dropper and small vase. The white glazed sake cup has a deeper colored terracota clay body and an incised mark, measuring just under 2 1/4" at the widest point and 1 3/4" high. The round Oribe style basket is also of dark earthenware. Three of the other forms have a light ink stamp "Japan" on the base, though is worn on some...
