Of nice size, measuring 9 1/2", and fairly heavy, this ovoid bronze vase features finely executed designs in the Chinese archaic style, and has a very dark green mottled patina to complement the style. Bird figures are facing one another on each side, and two abstract heads are placed between the sides. Of exceptionally large size, and complex weaving designs, this rattan basket is from the Luzon area of the Philippines, and was likely woven by the Ifugao or Igorot tribes. Nicely painted with good details and inscriptions, this snuff bottle measures 2 3/4" high and is in very good condition, though it lacks the stopper. On each side are several figures with inscriptions above the scenes. The bottom is footed, with evidence of hand carving and finishing. It appears to be early 20th century.

Measuring 13 1/4" high x 9 1/2" wide, this porcelain rooster or cockerel is decorated in famille verte colors, with the body of the bird in rich yellow. The detail in the porcelain modeling is well done, with glazes in yellow, brown, and green, with black detail in the eyes. Of bright apple green color, this wireless enamel cloisonne vase measures 9 3/4" high and has a softer green floral and foliate design around the entire vase, just below the shoulder. In very good condition, with no chips or cracks in the enamel, and some slight abrasions to the surface. Unsigned, it is in the style of some musen Ando wares, and dates to the mid 20th century. The color and size are strong and appealing, and are a good example of simple and modern Japanese cloisonne.
