Of bright apple green color, this wireless enamel cloisonne vase measures 9 3/4" high and has a softer green floral and foliate design around the entire vase, just below the shoulder. In very good condition, with no chips or cracks in the enamel, and some slight abrasions to the surface. Unsigned, it is in the style of some musen Ando wares, and dates to the mid 20th century. The color and size are strong and appealing, and are a good example of simple and modern Japanese cloisonne.
