Very sleek and delicate, this nicely sculptured bronze finial depicts the head of a tiger, and is Chinese in origin, dating to the Zhou (Chou) dynasty. Including the base, it measures 3 1/4" high, and is 2 5/8" high without the base. With very dark, worn patina, the simplicity of the figure is quite elegant, and is lovely from all directions. A fine little box of soft celadon green serpentine, mounted in gilded bronze, dating to the 19th century, this is an elegant little piece, with a lovely aged patina. The top has natural striations to the stone, and is slightly lighter in color than the sides and bottom. It measures 4 1/8" by 3 1/8" and is l 7/8" high, and is in good condition, with normal wear for the age.

Of richly colored celadon jade beads, with slight variation throughout the lengthy strand, some beads with darker spots, this necklace has a nice older lustrous surface and the silk thread is hand knotted between each bead. With no fastener, the necklace is 32" long and each bead is approximately 10 mms. Beads are all in fine condition, with no cracks or losses. A very elegant and refined necklace, it feels wonderful when worn.

Dating to the reign of Guangxu (1875-1908) in the Qing dynasty, this bowl is well decorated in a floral design in rose, yellow, blue, green and white on a turquoise ground, and measures a tad under 4". It is signed on the base with the reign mark in red enamel. Two thin hairlines extend into the interior of the bowl, one with a flake at the top, but neither appear on the exterior of the bowl...

This vase is 7 1/4" high, and is decorated with roses and foliage over a deep red glaze, on ginbari foil with a dappled surface, bamboo leaves and a flying bird incised into the silver. Excellent condition, no cracks, fratures or damage, though the silver is lightly tarnished. A nice example of Japanese cloisonne, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century.

From a collection of antique Chinese Peking glass snuff bottles, this ovoid bottle has a jadeite stone stopper and bone spoon (these appear to be later replacements). It was made to simulate goldstone, with a black body and gold flecks, and measures 2 1/4" high (2 1/2" including stopper). Nice smooth surface, with slight irregularities typical of hand work, this is a fine example of the quality and diversity of Chinese Peking glass.

From a collection of 19th century Peking glass snuff bottles, this one was created to look like jade, and has a soft luster and feel that is quite similar to the actual stone. The stopper has broken off from the spoon, which remains lodged in the bottle, and is a likely later replacement. The top appears to be stone, and is likely jadeite or serpentine. The bottle measures 2 1/2" (2 3/8" with stopper) and is in good condition, with some chipping on the foot.

From a collection of antique Peking glass snuff bottles, this form is quite elegant, with glass that simulates a caramel colored agate with darker spots. The top is tiger's eye, with a bone spoon, and is likely a later replacement. The bottle has a smooth, waxy surface, with slight irregularities that lend to its realistic appearance and demonstrate its age. It measures 2 3/4" high, 3 1/4" with the stopper and is a beautiful example of masterful glass making.

Consisting of of four panels of various Japanese landscapes, including Mt. Fuji, this table screen is finely executed in silver and 24 karat gold, set into gilded brass panels. The lower portions of the screen all contain a foliate designs of leaves, vines, and fruit, also in gold and silver. The screen measures 3 7/8" by 7 1/2" and is in excellent condition. It appears that there is some lacquer or other surface material on the gilded brass sections of the screen, visible in photos...

Of cinnabar color cut velvet on gold thread background, this striking pair of Chinese chair covers date to the 18th century and features a rich design of Foo dogs, a large four toed dragon, lotus blossoms, and various other Buddhist and foliate designs. Each panel measures 70" by 21" and is backed with hand woven linen. One panel has two original ties for fastening, and has several chop marks, but are these are not very clear...

Well carved, with fine detailing and artful usage of coloration in stone, this figure depicts a bearded and seated figure with his arm around a young child standing upon a woven basket. Of nice size, the carving measures 4 7/8" high and is 3 1/4" wide. There are some marks on the base, which are shown in one of the photos. There is minor damage, on the nose of the larger figure and a small loss to the face of the other...
