An early silver brooch from Taxco, Mexico, this piece is stamped "980 Taxco' and has a simple wire and C closure. It measures 2 1/2' wide and 1" deep and is set with an oval turquoise stone. Good condition, some tarnish on silver and some bends in the wire clasp, it is a nice example of early 20th century Taxco silver design.

With seven beautiful bright turquoise stones (one is very slightly more greenish), this lovely ring is approximately a size 8, and measures 1 1/2" x 1/2" and is of split shank construction, with twisted wire and bead ornamentation to the stone area. Nice satiny patina and well matched stones make this ring a very fine example of early 20th century Native American silver work.

Measuring 7" and comprised of eight three pence coins from the era of George V (1910-1936), this bracelet is a nice example of jewelry made from coins, a custom dating from ancient times. In good condition, with some wear to King George's face on one side of the bracelet.

Of fine quality and workmanship, this pendant is signed on the back with a capital "R", over a quarter moon, 925 and copyright emblem. The inlay segments are of turquoise, coral, black onyx, mother of pearl and are very finely cut; the silver is heavy, also nicely designed with serrated bezel. Including the ring, it measures 1 7/8" by 1". The ring is large enough to be used with a chain, leather strap or fabric.

Designed by Silversmith Barbara E. Cook (American 1950-2011), this heavy bracelet is comprised of serpentine linked strands with heavy silver ends, mounted with three lapis lazuli cabochons. The clasp is a threaded bar. It is heavy, weighing about 3 troy ounces, and is marked on the clasp with a sterling mark, and the artist's monogram BEC. Very well designed, one strand is slightly shorter, allowing the bracelet to drape over the wrist nicely, and it feels wonderful when worn...

These earrings are sterling, with inlay profiles of silver, brass, onyx, and eyes of a greenish stone. They measure 1" square, and have screw back posts for wearing. Both are marked "sterling 925" very faintly, but bear no makers mark. The faces in profile are modernist in style, with a Picasso-esque influence, and also depict a headdress or hair with wide brass and onyx stripes...

Silver vermeil filigree surrounds a deeply colored coral cabochon, on this nicely detailed brooch, with a hallmark indicating Genoa, Italy. It is stamped "800" along with GE and what appears to be the numbers "111". It measures 1 3/4' by 1 3/8" and has a tubular clasp. There is some wear to the gold on the top of the brooch, visible on the raised beads, but the rest of the brooch is bright and in excellent condition.

Set in vermeil silver, with Birmingham hallmarks for sterling, this black basalt medallion features the "Horse Startled by Lion" black basalt Wedgwood plaque, this one slightly less detailed than original, and smaller. The pendant measures 1 1/4" x 1 1/8" and is in excellent condition, no breaks or losses, and the vermeil is also intact, with a soft gold luster. The date letter is not clear, but it is likely from the era 1900- 1920...
