From the 1826 book by William Ellis, "Narrative of a Tour through Hawaii, or Owhyhee..." (see previous listing for full details), this is the second fold out map from this rare volume. Measuring 10 5/8" by 8 1/2", this map shows all the Hawaiian, or Sandwich Islands, with an inset of Oahu, and marked Longitude and Latitudes. In good condition, with wear and losses to edges, fold lines, and light foxing and stains (all visible in photos).
