Of black Belgian marble, this modernist sculpture by Lily Ente was created in 1954 and is entitled "Head". It was deaccessioned from the Chrysler Museum of Art in 1991 and his been in private collections since that time. The seated figure has hands on extended and shortened legs, and shows the ritual cicatrice tattoos on the shoulders, as well as ear spools.
