Measuring 27" long, this strand of branch coral is comprised of heavy pieces of coral, with good deep natural color. The longest piece measures 1 3/8" and many pieces are 1" or more, most being fairly thick. There is no clasp, as it is long enough to slip over the head. The stringing thread appears to be red silk, and the age is unknown. This is a striking necklace, with beautiful rich color and wonderful size.

Measuring 9" high, this pair of Brass candlesticks have a "beehive" circular shaft upon an octagonal base, with bold turnings below a flared candle cup. Dating to the mid 19th century, they are of English origin, and were common in the US during this era. The button on one of the push up shafts is missing, as shown in the photos of bottoms. Both are in good condition, no dents or damage, and both have a soft, glossy patina.

Printed on heavy woven paper, this map of Russia is from Holland, and the date 1792 is penciled in the upper right corner. There are no dates or authorship within the printed map. The sheet measures 15 5/8" x 10 1/8" with intact margins. The two lower corners are bent, there is some slight darkening of the paper, and the map is folded, with a reinforcing strip on the back. Given the size, it was likely a fold out section of a book or atlas...

Silver vermeil filigree surrounds a deeply colored coral cabochon, on this nicely detailed brooch, with a hallmark indicating Genoa, Italy. It is stamped "800" along with GE and what appears to be the numbers "111". It measures 1 3/4' by 1 3/8" and has a tubular clasp. There is some wear to the gold on the top of the brooch, visible on the raised beads, but the rest of the brooch is bright and in excellent condition.

Of nice size and proportions, this bell metal candlestick features a saucer base, with a stem of simple turnings and tapered form. It measures 8 7/8" high, the base is 5 1/2" in diameter, and the stem screws into the base. This simple, but lovely chamber stick is Spanish, dating to the late 18th or early 19th century, and is made in two sections, which are joined with brass pegs and soldered. Ca. 1780, this brass chamber stick is Spanish in origin, and the handle was cast with the drip pan and the stem was attached to the pan a with screw. Measuring 3 3/4" high, the drip pan is 4 3/4" in diameter, and the handle is 5 3/8" from top of drip pan.
