This is a nice and early Navajo ring, made for wear by native Americans, with simple stamping on the sides, two beads on the face between the turquoise and coral stones set in heavy bezels. Of nice size and proportions, this bell metal candlestick features a saucer base, with a stem of simple turnings and tapered form. It measures 8 7/8" high, the base is 5 1/2" in diameter, and the stem screws into the base. Ca. 1780, this brass chamber stick is Spanish in origin, and the handle was cast with the drip pan and the stem was attached to the pan a with screw. Measuring 3 3/4" high, the drip pan is 4 3/4" in diameter, and the handle is 5 3/8" from top of drip pan.
