| Carved of green soapstone, with the lighter textured surface contrasting with the dark and lustrous areas, this nice sculptural form depicts a sea lion poised upon a rock. Measuring 6" by 4", it is signed on the underside, as shown in photos. The shape, color, and open work on the carving make this an exceptionally artful and appealing Inuit carving, with very nice variation and marbling in stone. | ||
