Modernist ARMILLARY SUN DIAL Sundblad 1956

Invented by Folke W. Sundblad, and patented July 17, 1956, this well-designed sun dial has a sleek mid-century and modernist style. Comprised of two tones of aluminum, it is completely functional, and has information printed on the body regarding its usage. In addition, I have printed out the original document when it was patented that gives more comprehensive data, and will be included in the purchase. From the base to the highest section, it measures 20", and the base has four screw holes for mounting to a pedestal. In good working condition, but could use a light cleaning to brighten up the metal. From a garden here in Florida, this sculptural armillary sundial would be a strong focal point in any landscape.
