| Nicely stamped, with one large oval turquoise stone surrounded by six smaller round stones, most with a greenish color, this bracelet exemplifies some of the finer works of the trading post era. A good size, it measures 1 1/2" high and is 5 1/2" on the interior, with a 1 1/16" gap. The silver has a rich, satiny patina, and is in good condition, and the bezels are all firm, with intact stones. There is a very small area next to the bevel of the oval stone where there are a few very small scratches, that are darkened from tarnish (photo #5, lower right of stone). The stamping is all hand done, with good design, and the stones are also hand cut, creating an exceptionally fine Navajo bracelet, ca 1940. | ||
