Fine Spanish Brass Chamber Stick ca 1800
This simple, but lovely chamber stick is Spanish, dating to the late 18th or early 19th century, and is made in two sections, which are joined with brass pegs and soldered. The stem is mounted to the drip pan with a screw, and the handle has a nicely cut out opening for hanging when not in use. It measures 3 3/4" high, the drip pan is 4 7/8" in diameter, and the handle is 6 1/4" from the lip of the drip pan. In good condition, with expected wear on the lip of the candle holder and some dents to the drip pan lip. The angle of the handle gives this stick a particularly nice shape.
