| Sculpted in low relief in marble, this lovely nude torso was created by Margot Semac (American 1901-), a New York artist and member of Allied Artists of America. The marble slab measures 14" high, 13" wide, and 1 1/4" thick. It is mounted on a simple wood base and signed with plastic tag "Semac" attached to the base. Undated, it was likely sculpted from 1950-1970. From the estate of Jacques Levy in New York City. | ||
