Dating from the 1920's, these porcelain lamps are marked "Germany" on the base, with an impressed number 6057, and each measures 8 7/8" high (porcelain area only, the fixture is 3 5/8" high). They both depict the figure of Pierrot, dancing with a woman in harem clothes and deco headband, and are nicely painted, with rich pink and lavender coloring on the woman's clothing. In fine condition, with just a tad of paint rubbing, a very small scrape on her elbow on one lamp, but no chips, cracks, or restoration. They do work, but I would recommend re-wiring, as the wiring is older (one wire is spliced and taped). They are classic art deco design, and have lovely color and form.
