| In very good condition, this matching pair of Quimper plates measure 8 1/2" and are signed on the back HB Quimper Frnce, with a + and a dot, which appears to be a mark done prior to 1940. There is very slight glaze wear to the rims of the plate and one plate has a pock mark that appears to have been made during firing (visible in photos). With nice bright colors on a creamy white slip, this pair is a good example of the charm and artfulness of this renowned French maker. | ||
