Heavy Five Stone Stamped Navajo Bracelet - Harvey Era
Comprised of two heavy triangular bands with a central rod, this silver bracelet has five turquoise stones in graduated sizes, with simple bezels and bead decoration between the stones. The bands are stamped and the ends are simple silver rectangles. Unsigned, it is likely of the "trading post" era, ca 1930. The outside measurement is 7 1/8", the inside is 6", the opening is 1" and it is 1 1/8' high. As is visible in the photos, the stones are greenish in color, clearly untreated stones, and there are slight fractures in the matrix of the larger stone and one next to it (with a tiny chip in the smaller stone next to the fracture, visible in last photo). With a nice soft patina to the silver, and subtley colored stones, this is a fine example of Navajo silver work.
