Measuring 3" x 2 1/4" x 1 1/2" high, this silver box is nicely stamped with traditional navajo designs. It sits on four feet, which appear to be bead halves, and has a clasp on front that secures the lid. Unmarked, which is typical of older works, likely from the trading post era, with Fred Harvey being one of the primary venues for the sale of hand made Navajo silver and other works. Excellent condition, nice soft patina, slight rubbing to surface, the hinges and clasp function well. This is a very nice size, with a raised top, and feet, making it quite attractive and well proportioned.
