This set of handled soup bowls and saucers is the early production of Evesham by Royal Worcester, made in England ca 1970. In mint condition, with no wear, chips, cracks, or loss of gold accents, the bowls measure 4 1/4" in diameter,6" including handles, and the saucers are 6 3/4" (PLEASE NOTE: once saucer is slightly smaller, and is likely a replacement, and was originally a saucer from a tea/coffee cup. Visible in photo of entire set, on top of middle stack of saucers). One side depicts a peach and berry cluster, and the other a bunch of plums. The early Evesham from this era are the finest quality, with excellent detail and heavy gilt edges and accents. From a large collection, purchase in the early 1970's, more to be listed in our catalog.
