Here is a pretty sterling buckle with a floral motif. The plique is red, 2 different blues, and green. It is signed with a “JK” above another “JK” in a box. It is has marks for London, 1886, and a duty mark. It measures 3-1/8” x 2-1/4", and weighs 32.7g or 1.16 oz. It’s in quite good condition. The plique has a few hairlines and many bubbles, neither of which is uncommon. The red and blue plique is dark, so it’s not very visible in the photo. The red plique appears to have some very fine th ...click for details

Here is a sweet little pin, measuring 7/8” across. It’s very autumnal, with leaves enameled in shades of green, yellow and orange, alternating with leaves set with 3 seed pearls each, and centering another seed pearl. The findings are original, with a neat security clasp. On the clasp is a makers mark of an arrow with a circle at the end, probably for Robert Klitz, of New York. No hallmarks, but it tests for 14k gold. Circa 1900.

This simple yet elegant lavalier evokes both the Nouveau and the Deco eras with it’s lines. It measures 1-3/8” without the bale, and ˝” at the widest point. It features 3 dark purple stones, which are most likely glass. The top stone’s facets are somewhat abraded, and there is wear to the gold. Circa 1920. Here is a gorgeous pendant/pin with a stylized motif of green to yellow enamel in a floral pattern reminiscent of the French fleur-de-lis. Centered by a small diamond (approx. 5 points), and with a pearl-set modified starburst accenting the enameled “petals.” 14k rose gold, it measures 1” in diameter at the widest point. The bale folds down neatly when it’s worn as a brooch. I have had the enamel touched up at the edges, so it is now in excellent antique condition. Note: chain not included.

Each end is marked WHITE GOLD FRONT BELAIS 14K; TALON GRIP TRADEMARK, and is octagonal, measuring 5/8 x 7/16”, with rigid connectors, hinged at one end. Belais Brothers were amongst the first to develop a formula for white gold (their patent was for 1917). Many think they were the premier workers in white gold, and their jewels are highly collectible. These show some wear to the gold, with a bit of red metal (copper?) showing through ...click for details

It is on a modern 18” sterling chain. The enamel is in perfect condition, but there is a small chip to the blister pearl, which doesn’t even show up in the photos.

$1,499

This very beautiful and unusual ring, with a continuous wheat sheaf pattern, most likely comes out of the turn of the last century, according to a jewelry historian. She also said it was probably made using a process called “die rolling.” It is marked “22ct”, “PLATINUM”, and the maker’s mark is “B’s”. I was unable to find the maker in Jackson’s Hallmarks. Size 5-1/4 plus a little, and unfortunately it can’t be sized. 5.6 grams. It is in excellent condition, and really just fabulous.
