This necklace is such a pleasure to wear! It drapes very nicely around the neck, measuring 15-1/2” long, with a maximum of ½” in width. It is marked "DANECRAFT STERLING RFG US PAT OFF" and weighs 36.8g. In excellent condition, and we believe it was made between 1940 and 1950. The flowers are lotuses (which are a type of water lily). To Buddists, they represent resurrection, purity and enlightenment. The photos are part of the description; please examine them carefully...

This gorgeous stick pin features an amethyst measuring 7/16” x 5/16", in a rounded-off diamond-shaped setting made from a warm 14k gold (marked and tested). The setting measures 9/16” x 1/2” and the whole thing is 2-11/16” long. It weighs 2.7g. Circa 1900 and in excellent condition. AMETHYSTS are thought to be spiritual stones, aiding in meditation; also good for curing headaches. The photos are part of the description; please examine them carefully...

This eye-catching brush by Gorham Manufacturing Company is meant to look like the top of an old chest, with a strapping and stud motif – very “Steampunk.” The top is monogrammed with a fancy "R". It has the Gorham marks, as well as “1857 C”, “Sterling,” and the scissors mark for 1907. It measures 6” x 1 -3/4" across the top, and is in very good condition. Photo note: the color of the bristles is much more of an ivory...

According to some, this is St. Catherine, patroness of young maidens and female scholars. There is a (“Catherine”?) wheel in the background (it could also be a spinning wheel or a ship's wheel), and a flower in the foreground. Her clothing looks very Renaissance to us. Marked “SILVER” on the C-clasp, with an illegible maker’s mark, the metal tests as sterling, and she’s a dainty 7/8” in diameter. 2.5g. In excellent condition, and circa 1850...

Here is a delightful plique a jour stylized moth, most likely German or Austrian in origin. The body has 4 colorless paste stones, and there is an emerald green paste stone in the tail. The plique shades from green to white to peach. 1-1/2” by 3/4”, and stamped “800” on the back. It is in excellent antique condition and circa 1900. The photos are part of the description; please examine them carefully. Thanks! Shipping, handling & insurance within the USA included.

Pink coral is said to restore harmony to the heart. Simple, classic, and lovely, this stick pin features an oval of pale pink “angel skin” coral, measuring 9/16” x 3/8”. The whole thing is 2-7/8” long. Unmarked, it tests as 14k gold. The setting has a waving edge, and cut outs to reveal the coral along the sides. It weighs 3.0g. The pin is a little bent, otherwise in excellent condition and circa 1910. The photos are part of the description; please examine them carefully...

Here is a cheerful bow brooch, made from blue and turquoise plique a jour with twisted wire work running through it. The colors in the photographs may be deceptive, depending on your computer monitor - the enamel over the wire spirals is turquoise, and the rest is a medium blue. Measuring 1-1/4” x 7/8", it weighs 3.1g. On the back it is marked with “800”, and an illegible (maker’s?) mark; we believe it is Italian. The silver on the front has a gold wash...

Swirling flowers and a bud highlight this mixed-metal sash buckle. The silver plate shows some wear - yellow metal shows through at some of the high points. We believe the gold to be about 9kt, and it’s also a plating of some type. The buckle measures 3 x 2-1/2" and weighs in at 47.5 grams. Unmarked. In overall very good condition, except for the few worn spots already mentioned; the gold might be a little worn in a few places too – it’s difficult to tell because of the texturing...

We love this pin! The colors are so pretty, and the leafy design is so very Arts & Crafts. It consists of a leaf and berry motif, highlighted by a central cushion-cut blue chalcedony cab (thought to bring good luck), with a circular green aventurine cab on either side. Measuring 1-1/4” x 3/8", it is unmarked but tests as silver. It is in excellent condition, although the pin is a little bent. The pin stem assembly may be a replacement, but if so, it’s quite an old repair. Circa 1900. The pho...

Here is a sky-blue enamel pendant with blue enamel dropper. It tests as silver, most likely Sterling. It has two shades of light blue enamel on the front, highlighted by silver flourishes and dots. The dropper is also enameled in shaded hues of blue. The enamel continues on the back in sky blue – so lovely! Excluding the bale, it is 1-1/2” long by just under 3/4” across. There are two tiny areas of enamel damage on the back, and a few areas that could use some cleaning, but otherwise it is...

Here is a beautiful Victorian cameo, set in flourishes of yellow gold and decorated with 4 pearls. The background is a slightly darker pink than the lady herself. The attention to detail in the carving is nice, and she is in very good condition. There is one missing pearl – the one above the pearl dangle - but it’s unnoticeable. It seems to say “SIG” in script across the back. The bail is signed with “10K” inside what looks like a stylized “C”. It measures 1-13/16” not includin...

These 10kt yellow gold cuff links sport an ivy motif – one of our favorites! Ivy is symbolic of growth, marriage, and friendship. The decorated ends measure 3/4” x 1/2”, and they weigh 3.2g. Unmarked, they test at 10k, and we believe them to be from the Art Nouveau period. In excellent condition, and just lovely. The photos are part of the description so please examine them carefully. Here is a lovely pin from the Edwardian era. Brought to Europe by the Crusaders from St. John’s Island (Zabargard), peridot is the August birthstone, and is considered to be a stone of healing and protection. This round peridot is framed by an oval of seed pearls, set into a delicate arabesque of gold with still more seed pearls, for a total of 30 (2 are replacements). Stamped 14k on the back, with an illegible maker’s mark, it measures 1-1/2” x 7/16" and weighs 2.0g. The peridot is slight...

Here is a lovely French lavalier, measuring 1-1/8” (not including the jump ring) by 11/16”. It features 3 rose cut diamonds and 3 (cultured?) pearls. Marked only “DEPOSE”, it tests as 18k. The stones are set in white metal, but it’s hard to tell what kind – probably either gold or platinum. 2.1g. We believe this used to be a part of a larger piece, however, the transformation was done very skillfully, and it is in overall very good condition. There is a small dent on the upper right ...

This pretty stickpin features a lovely square-cut tourmaline (said to aid in self confidence and compassion). It is surrounded by a Nouveau framework in gold, with a Tudor or wild rose below. A little white pearl completes it. It is marked 14k, with an illegible maker’s mark. It measures 1/2” x 5/8" and the whole thing is 2-1/2" long. It weighs 2.9g including the gold-filled clutch. In excellent condition and C. 1900. The Tudor rose is a combination of the white rose of York and the red...

Here is a pair of highly unusual cuff links! We have only seen one other pair with photos, and those were in base metal. Each has a photograph of an elegant lady in a white high-necked blouse with upswept hair. These were clearly worn a lot, based on the patina, but they still look great. The 10k marks are on the back of the fronts only, not on the “torpedo” ends, and we don’t like to test torpedoes, so can’t promise that they are also 10k. The fronts measure 7/8” x 5/8”, the torpedo...

Here is a pretty gypsy ring, made from a lovely rich yellow 18 kt gold. The center stone is a diamond, the 2 outer stones are rubies. It has nice decorative scroll work carving on the shoulders. The hallmarks are for Chester, 1903, and there is a maker’s mark that we can’t decipher. It weighs 4.0g, and is approximately a size 5. The shank is a little off round, and it may have been sized at some time, but it is in excellent condition. The photos are part of the description; please examine th...
