This Victorian-style ring is very nicely done. The elaborate gothic prongs set off the large iolite (approx. 2 ct.), and there are 4 small single cut accent diamonds. The setting measures 7/8” north to south, and 3/4” east to west. Approximately size 8-1/2. It is marked 14k, the setting is red gold and the shank is yellow gold. The stones are in excellent condition, and of a modern cut. The photos are part of the description; please examine them carefully...

This brooch is an interesting combination of Nouveau and Edwardian styles, and is remarkably similar to a couple pieces by Whiteside & Blank that we’ve seen; however it is unsigned. The pin consists of a framework enameled in very pale green, in a formal Edwardian key pattern. In the middle is a sprig of leaves with a pearl berry; the stem twines around the framework in back, in a Nouveau style. There are 3 additional pearls set on the frame. It is marked (and tested at) 10k on the C-clasp...

The setting measures 9/16” x 1/2” and the whole thing is 2-11/16” long. It weighs 2.7g. Circa 1900 and in excellent condition. AMETHYSTS are thought to be spiritual stones, aiding in meditation; also good for curing headaches. The photos are part of the description; please examine them carefully...

This lovely slide bracelet has 11 (10K & 14k) gold slides, some of which have opals and seed pearls and what looks like coral. The central slide depicts a beautiful Art Nouveau flower. The clasp is gold filled or 9k, the gold paperclip chain tests as 10k, but the round beads are hard to test beyond confirming that they are gold. One slide has a 14k hallmark and a maker’s mark, and one other has a maker’s mark, which looks like an oak leaf. It weighs in at 16.6g...

Here we have a pretty 9k yellow gold pendant. The design is Art Nouveau/Arts & Crafts. It is centered by a dark red garnet, possibly a spessartite. Garnets are the birthstone for January, and were thought to bring travelers safely home. The dangle is set with a blister pearl of a mellow off-white color. There are 3 tiny seed pearls in the main setting...

This gorgeous lavalier sports a light purple amethyst (reputedly good for clarity of mind), framed by rose gold panels which could be seen as Nouveau or Arts & Crafts or both. It has a pearl dangle with good luster which is interestingly off-round. Measuring 1-5/8” including the pearl but not the ring, by 7/8”. The amethyst measures 3/8” x 1/4”. Here is a pair of highly unusual cuff links! We have only seen one other pair with photos, and those were in base metal. Each has a photograph of an elegant lady in a white high-necked blouse with upswept hair. These were clearly worn a lot, based on the patina, but they still look great. The 10k marks are on the back of the fronts only, not on the “torpedo” ends, and we don’t like to test torpedoes, so can’t promise that they are also 10k...

This pair of identical rich yellow gold pins would be an excellent addition to your collection of Victorian jewelry! 1-1/4” x 1/4”, they say “BEBE” on the front. They test as 9k, weigh 3.0 g, and the findings are signed “VID”. There are tiny flowers and floral designs at the edges. It looks like the findings are old replacements. One of them has 2 brownish stains on the back, otherwise in excellent condition. The photos are part of the description; please examine them carefully. Tha...

Here is a very pretty starburst pin/necklace, made from 14k gold (marked and tested), set with seed pearls, and with an old European cut diamond in the center. It has a maker’s mark in the shape of a Maltese cross. Measuring 1-1/8”, it weighs 6g. The bail folds down nicely for wearing as a necklace. The 18” chain is gold filled, and not original to the piece. It comes with an antique dark blue velvet box. The photos are part of the description; please examine them carefully. Thanks! Ship...

Here is a very Victorian ring with pretty scrollwork on the shank. The center decoration is a horizontal row of seed pearls, and two red stones above and below. One stone is badly chipped, and both are abraded. One of them might be a doublet, but otherwise I don’t know what they are. It is stamped 10K, and is approximately a size 8. Circa 1900. The photos are part of the description so please examine them carefully. Thanks! Shipping, handling & insurance within the USA included.

Here is a beautiful Victorian cameo, set in flourishes of yellow gold and decorated with 4 pearls. The background is a slightly darker pink than the lady herself. The attention to detail in the carving is nice, and she is in very good condition. There is one missing pearl – the one above the pearl dangle - but it’s unnoticeable. It seems to say “SIG” in script across the back. The bail is signed with “10K” inside what looks like a stylized “C”. It measures 1-13/16” not includin...

Here is one of our favorite lavaliers! It is quintessential Art Nouveau: a graceful and elegant shape with a flower and whiplash motif. The central amethyst weighs approximately ½ carat, and it is graced by 28 seed pearls. Feng Shui practitioners believe amethysts aid in purification, and give access to a higher plane of energy. Unmarked but tested 14k rose gold, it weighs 3.3g and measures 1” x 1” at the widest points. Chain not included. In very good antique condition, and circa 1900. T...

We think this guy is just adorable! The pin is unmarked, but the gold tests at about 12k. The total length is 2-1/8”, and the dog’s face is 1/2” x 7/16”. It weighs 0.9g. He may be a Weimaraner. They were bred as hunting dogs in the early 1800s in Germany, and were named after the Grand Duke Weimar. In real life they are a silvery color, but this guy is a nice warm gold. Wikipedia tells us “The Weimaraner is loyal and loving to his family, an incredible hunter, and a fearless guardian o...

This romantic stickpin depicts a lovely woman in profile with a pearl nestled in her curls. Marked 14k, it’s made from yellow gold, and signed by the maker. It measures 2-3/8”, and weighs 2.0g. The pin is slightly bent, and the back is dented a little, but this doesn’t detract from the beauty of this enchanting jewel. Historical note: Mr. Blank of Whiteside & Blank was a Titanic survivor! Circa 1900. The photos are part of the description; please examine them carefully. Thanks! Shipping,...
