We love this ring, which is perfect for St. Paddy’s day! A luscious green, surrounded by Celtic interlaced enamel. A chalcedony center stone, thought by Native Americans to promote harmony and good will and reminiscent of high quality jade, is surrounded by red and green enamel on the setting. The shank has Celtic interlace decoration (also called entrelac), highlighted with more red and green enamel. It is just slightly smaller than size 6, and the top measures 13/16” x 5/8”...

Here is a lovely pair of white gold-fronted double cuff links – they could have been worn by Gatsby himself! Each end is marked BELAIS 14k W.G. FRONT, and is a rectangle measuring 5/8 x 1/2”, with rigid connectors, hinged at one end. There is space for a monogram, should you wish it. They weigh a total of 5g. Belais Brothers were amongst the first to develop a formula for white gold (patented in 1917)...

This sweet ring comes right out of the Art Deco era of Downton Abbey. The diamond is a very sparkly “transitional” diamond, i.e., between the older styles of cutting and the modern round brilliant styles. It weighs approximately .63, the color is in the JKL range, and it is just really pretty. We don’t really know how to photograph diamonds, so the photos don’t do it justice. The diamond is set in platinum, and the ring shank is (stamped) 14k gold...

Here is a very classy and classic ring by the well-known American company, Belais, one of the earliest companies to make jewelry using white gold. It is stamped 18k and “Belais,” and was sized to fit a 6-1/2 finger. The transitional cut diamond is approximately .10 ct. The side stones are synthetic sapphires, which were quite commonly used in fine jewelry in this time period. It has wheat sheaf engraving on shoulders and a medium-high gallery. Circa 1940...

Each end is marked WHITE GOLD FRONT BELAIS 14K; TALON GRIP TRADEMARK, and is octagonal, measuring 5/8 x 7/16”, with rigid connectors, hinged at one end. These gorgeous cuff links are composed of slightly oval rock crystals carved with a seashell-like pattern, intersected by rows of calibre-cut blue sapphires. 18k (tested) white gold backs and links are marked with what appears to be European hallmarks – they are too blurry to decipher beyond that. The rock crystals measure 5/8” x 9/16”, and together they weigh 7.2g. The photos are part of the description; please examine carefully...

This simple yet elegant gold washed lavalier evokes both the Nouveau and the Deco eras with its design. It measures 1-3/8” without the bale, and 1/2” at the widest point. It features 3 dark purple stones, which may be glass – we couldn’t identify them with certainty. The top stone’s facets are somewhat abraded, and there is wear to the metal. Circa 1920. The photos are part of the description, so please examine them with care...
