Here is a stickpin featuring a yummy burnt-orange colored oval carnelian, set in 10kt gold and surrounded by an oval of gold set with 4 seed pearls. It is marked 10kt. The setting measures 13/16” x 1/2", and the whole thing 2-3/8". The pin has a bit of a bend to it toward the top, otherwise in excellent antique condition. The photos are part of the description. Please look at them carefully. Thanks! Shipping, handling, and insurance within the USA included.

This lovely and detailed Titanic-era garland necklace features a heart with wings, symbolic of love and openness. The heart has green enamel with orange highlights, and it and the wings are set with seed pearls. Above are gold curlicues, and below is a (tested) diamond dropper. It’s got a faint 10k mark on the back, but tests as 14k. The spring ring is marked 1/20 14k Gold Filled, but the chain tests for 14k, so the spring ring may be a replacement...

Here is a sweet little pin, measuring 7/8” across. Its leaves are enameled in shades of green, yellow and orange, alternating with leaves set with 3 seed pearls each, and centering another seed pearl. The findings are original, with a neat security clasp. On the clasp is a maker’s mark consisting of an arrow with a circle at the end, probably for Robert Klitz, of New York. No hallmarks, but it tests for 14k gold. Circa 1900...

We think this guy is just adorable! The pin is unmarked, but the gold tests at about 12k. The total length is 2-1/8”, and the dog’s face is 1/2” x 7/16”. It weighs 0.9g. He may be a Weimaraner. They were bred as hunting dogs in the early 1800s in Germany, and were named after the Grand Duke Weimar. In real life they are a silvery color, but this guy is a nice warm gold...

This gorgeous necklace features 13 Madera citrines (birthstone for November; they are said to bring joy and optimism into one’s life) – 3 clusters of 3 each, and 4 set singly. The central cluster has a pearl dangle. The rose gold is marked 9ct on the clasp, but it tests as a weak 10k. No other marks. Wearable length is 18-3/4”. Excellent condition. The clasp is a little fussy, but could easily be replaced. Circa 1910 or earlier...

We think this garland necklace is just stunning. It’s also rather unusual. The rigid cross piece has a chain running above it, through loops over 5 oval amethysts with excellent color, each set into an inverted heart-shaped framework, and separated from the next by a tiny pearl. Set below each amethyst is a seed pearl, and below the framework are draping chains, the central 5 each having a freshwater pearl dangle. At each end of the bar is an additional little round amethyst, for a total of 7...

This handsome fellow’s head measures 5/8 x 11/16". He is made from 14kt yellow gold (there are illegible marks, so we tested it). The red eye is too small to identify, so assume glass. It weighs 1.4g and is in excellent condition. The photos are part of the description; please examine them carefully. Thanks! Shipping, handling & insurance within the USA included.

Although this jewel is English, it reflects the aesthetics of fin de siècle Russia, with its pink topazes and demantoid garnets. The fairly large topazes are surrounded by swirls of seed-pearl-set gold, and set off by 4 bright green demantoid garnets, 2 of which are set into the fine chains which connect the top section to the bottom; of the other 2, the top one is a modified pear shape, the other oval. It measures 2” long by 1-1/8” across at the widest point, and weighs 5.4g...

This sweet jewel consists of a circle of gold enameled in deep blue, with gold highlights. Through it is tied a 3-looped bow, decorated with tiny seed pearls, as are the bail and drop. There are a few places where the enamel appears to have been applied imperfectly, and a couple very tiny chips, but these very minor flaws are visible only with magnification. It is stamped 15kt gold, but there is a place on the back where it looks as though someone made a repair using rose gold...

Here is a sweet garland or festoon necklace composed of seed pearls set in 10 kt gold, with two pearls built into the draping chains, and a pearl dangle. The whole thing measures 14-5/8” (and we have gold necklace extenders if that’s too short). The decorated section measures 1-1/4” x 3/4” including the dangle. It is in excellent condition, but one seed pearl is missing. It’s really hard to tell - we only noticed when examining it under the microscope. Circa 1910 – it would have been...

Here is a lovely watch pin made of marked and tested 14k gold, many seed pearls, and 2 accent diamonds. It features a leaves and vine motif, with 2 pretty little flowers with heart-shaped petals, and it’s just beautiful. It measures 1-1/8 x 1-1/4" and weighs in at 6.9g. One seed pearl was missing, so we had it replaced. The pin stem assembly is original. It could be cleaned a little, but it looks great as is. In excellent condition, and circa 1910. This classy brooch highlights a large amethyst with a row of seed pearls, surrounded by an enameled key pattern. Marked 14k, and signed by the Riker Bros. of Newark, NJ, it measures 1-3/16” x 13/16” and weighs 8.0g. It is in excellent condition, overall, but with a very small ding to the upper left edge, and very tiny pitting in the enamel, which isn’t visible without a loupe. The photos are part of the description; please examine them carefully. Thanks! Shipping, handling & insurance wit...

This Edwardian/Art Nouveau necklace would be perfect for a bride! Or anyone else, really. Both the size and the pearl and diamond dangle make it unusual. It measures 1-1/4” at the widest point, and from the top-most diamond to the bottom of the dropper it is 2-1/4”. The dropper is a dogtooth pearl, 11/16” long, which has a collar of gold around it, set with 3 tiny diamonds, and swirls of gold holding 4 more little pearls! Wow! The main section features 3 more tiny diamonds and 50+ seed pea...

Here is a gorgeous pendant/pin with a stylized motif of green to yellow enamel in a floral pattern reminiscent of the French fleur-de-lis. It is centered by a small diamond (approx. 5 points), and has a pearl-set modified starburst accenting the enameled “petals.” In 14k rose gold, it measures 1” in diameter at the widest point. The bale folds down neatly when it’s worn as a brooch. We have had the enamel touched up a bit at the edges, so it is now in excellent condition. Chain not inclu...

This brooch is an interesting combination of Nouveau and Edwardian styles, and is remarkably similar to a couple pieces by Whiteside & Blank that we’ve seen; however it is unsigned. The pin consists of a framework enameled in very pale green, in a formal Edwardian key pattern. In the middle is a sprig of leaves with a pearl berry; the stem twines around the framework in back, in a Nouveau style. There are 3 additional pearls set on the frame. It is marked (and tested at) 10k on the C-clasp. Th...

Here is a cheerful bow brooch, made from blue and turquoise plique a jour with twisted wire work running through it. The colors in the photographs may be deceptive, depending on your computer monitor - the enamel over the wire spirals is turquoise, and the rest is a medium blue. Measuring 1-1/4” x 7/8", it weighs 3.1g. On the back it is marked with “800”, and an illegible (maker’s?) mark; we believe it is Italian. The silver on the front has a gold wash. The plique has some hairlines run...

This gorgeous jewel sports 2 large and lovely peridots. The central stone is cushion cut, and the dangle is pear-shaped. It is decorated with a total of 28 seed pearls of colors that vary slightly, set into the leaves & vine-like gold ribbons. It is marked 14k on 1 leaf and the spring ring. In excellent condition. The decorative panels measure 3-1/2" x 1", and the whole thing measures 15-1/4" total (we have gold necklace extenders available if that’s too short). Circa 1910, right around the ti...
