This beautiful pendant has a very Gothic feel to it. It is centered by an amethyst with good color, which measures 9mm x 7mm, and the whole thing measures 1-7/16” x 11/16”. North, south, east and west there are pearl-set trefoils – hence the Gothic feel – plus a dangle with a further pearl-set trefoil, and a larger pearl dangle. It is unmarked, but tests 10k. It is on a 20” yellow gold-filled chain, marked 1/20-12, but the rest of the mark is cut off. In excellent condition...

Here is a gorgeous pendant/pin with a stylized motif of green to yellow enamel in a floral pattern reminiscent of the French fleur-de-lis. It is centered by a small diamond (approx. 5 points), and has a pearl-set modified starburst accenting the enameled “petals.” 14k rose gold, it measures 1” in diameter at the widest point. The bale folds down neatly when it’s worn as a brooch. We have had the enamel touched up a bit at the edges, so it is now in excellent condition. Chain not included...

This handsome fellow’s head measures 5/8 x 11/16". He is made from 14kt yellow gold (there are illegible marks, so we tested it). The red eye is too small to identify, so assume glass. It weighs 1.4g and is in excellent condition. The photos are part of the description; please examine them carefully. Thanks! Shipping, handling & insurance within the USA included.

This lovely and detailed Titanic-era garland necklace features a heart with wings, symbolic of love and openness. The heart has green enamel with orange highlights, and it and the wings are set with seed pearls. Above are gold curlicues, and below is a (tested) diamond dropper. It’s got a faint 10k mark on the back, but tests as 14k. The spring ring is marked 1/20 14k Gold Filled, but the chain tests for 14k, so the spring ring may be a replacement...

Here is a pretty lady’s face in profile. Her long golden hair trails down to end with a tiny baroque or freshwater pearl. Total length of the face, hair and pearl is nearly 3/4”. This design was based on a drawing by Charles Dana Gibson – a Gibson Girl! Please see the final photograph. It is hallmarked 14k, weighs 1.2g, and is in excellent condition. It doesn’t have a maker’s mark, but we have seen this exact stick pin with Alling’s mark. Circa 1910...

Here is a pretty gypsy ring, made from a lovely rich yellow 18 kt gold. The center stone is a diamond, the 2 outer stones are rubies. It has nice decorative scroll work carving on the shoulders. The hallmarks are for Chester, 1903, and there is a maker’s mark that we can’t decipher. It weighs 4.0g, and is approximately a size 5. The shank is a little off round, and it may have been sized at some time, but it is in excellent condition...

Here is a sweet garland or festoon necklace composed of seed pearls set in 10 kt gold, with two pearls built into the draping chains, and a pearl dangle. The whole thing measures 14-5/8” (and we have gold necklace extenders if that’s too short). The decorated section measures 1-1/4” x 3/4” including the dangle. It is in excellent condition, but one seed pearl is missing. It’s really hard to tell - we only noticed when examining it under the microscope...

We think this guy is just adorable! The pin is unmarked, but the gold tests at about 12k. The total length is 2-1/8”, and the dog’s face is ½” x 7/16”. It weighs 0.9g. He may be a Weimaraner. They were bred as hunting dogs in the early 1800s in Germany, and were named after the Grand Duke Weimar. In real life they are a silvery color, but this guy is a nice warm gold...

Here is a lovely watch pin made of marked and tested 14k gold, many seed pearls, and 2 accent diamonds. It features a leaves and vine motif, with 2 pretty little flowers with heart-shaped petals, and it’s just beautiful. It measures 1-1/8 x 1-1/4" and weighs in at 6.9g. One seed pearl was missing, so we had it replaced. The pin stem assembly is original. It could be cleaned a little, but it looks great as is. In excellent condition, and circa 1910. Ruby is the birthstone for July, and symbolizes love, devotion, and immortality. Pearls symbolize purity and harmony. What a great combination for these pretty earrings! They are marked 375 for 9 karat gold, although they test as 10k. The hanging flower basket motif is quite charming! They contain a total of 16 rubies and 18 seed pearls. The total length is 1-7/8”, and together they weight 4.3g. As usual with older earrings, it’s possible that the wires are replacements. In excellent condi...

This lovely jewel features a circle of 6 ginkgo leaves radiating out from a small diamond, with rows of seed pearls in between. The enamel is lovely, detailed, and subtle. It is both a brooch and a pendant. The bale is on a swivel; it folds down neatly so that it’s invisible when worn as a brooch. Unmarked but tested 14k rose gold, about 33 pearls, and an approximately .02 full cut old diamond, slightly chipped. The jewel measures 1-1/16” in diameter and weighs 5.7g. The enamel might be slig...

This Edwardian/Art Nouveau necklace would make a wonderful Valentine’s Day gift – and perfect for a bride! Both the size and the pearl and diamond dangle make it unusual. It measures 1-1/4” at the widest point, and from the top-most diamond to the bottom of the dropper it is 2-1/4”. The dropper is a dogtooth pearl, 11/16” long, which has a collar of gold around it, set with 3 tiny diamonds, and swirls of gold holding 4 more little pearls! Wow! This ring is one of our absolute favorites – and would make a great engagement ring for a woman who wants something a bit different. The central diamond is approximately 20 points (1/5 of a carat, but looks bigger), set in platinum. The rest of the setting is made of unmarked but tested 14k gold of a lovely rich yellow. There are 4 tiny rubies and 3 tiny demantoid garnets. It’s very hard to ID the 4th green stone, due the size and setting, but it is mostly likely another demantoid. It’s a ...

Here is a lovely pin from the Edwardian era. Brought to Europe by the Crusaders from St. John’s Island (Zabargard), peridot is the August birthstone, and is considered to be a stone of healing and protection. This round peridot is framed by an oval of seed pearls, set into a delicate arabesque of gold with still more seed pearls, for a total of 30 (2 are replacements). Stamped 14k on the back, with an illegible maker’s mark, it measures 1-½” x 7/16" and weighs 2.0g. The peridot is slightl...
