This classy brooch highlights a large amethyst with a row of seed pearls, surrounded by an enameled key pattern. Marked 14k, and signed by the Riker Bros. of Newark, NJ, it measures 1-3/16” x 13/16” and weighs 8.0g or .28oz. It is in excellent condition, overall, but with a very small ding to the upper left edge, and very tiny pitting in the enamel, which isn’t visible without a loupe...

Here is a lovely pin from the Edwardian era. Brought to Europe by the Crusaders from St. John’s Island (Zabargard), peridot is the August birthstone, and is considered to be a stone of healing and protection. This round peridot is framed by an oval of seed pearls, set into a delicate arabesque of gold with still more seed pearls, for a total of 30 (2 are replacements). Stamped 14k on the back, with an illegible maker’s mark, it measures 1-½” x 7/16"...

This lovely and detailed Titanic-era garland necklace features a winged heart, symbolic of love and openness. The heart has green enamel with orange highlights, and it and the wings are set with seed pearls. Above are gold curlicues, and below is a (tested) diamond dropper. It’s got a faint 10K mark on the back, but tests as 14K. The spring ring is marked 1/20 14k Gold Filled, but the chain tests for 14k, so we assume the spring ring is a replacement...

Here is a lovely watch pin made of marked and tested 14k gold, many seed pearls, and 2 accent diamonds. The motif consists of leaves and vines, with 2 pretty little flowers with heart-shaped petals, and it’s just beautiful. It measures 1-1/8 x 1-1/4" and weighs in at 6.9g. One seed pearl was missing, so we had it replaced. The pin stem assembly is original. It could be cleaned a little, but it looks great as is. In excellent condition, and circa 1910...

This handsome fellow is either a moose or an elk – I can’t tell the difference! His head measures 5/8 x 11/16". The gold tests at 14k. His red eye is too small to identify, so assume glass. There are marks, but I can’t read them. It weighs 1.4g or 0.05oz. and is in excellent condition. Circa 1900. Please read this description and look at the photos very carefully, as we are not responsible for buyer remorse. Thanks! Shipping, handling & insurance within the USA included.

This ring is one of our absolute favorites! The central diamond is approximately 20 points (1/5 of a carat), set in platinum. The rest of the setting is made of unmarked 14k gold of a lovely rich yellow. There are 4 tiny rubies and 3 tiny demantoid garnets. It’s very hard to ID the 4th green stone, due the size and setting, but it is mostly likely another demantoid. It’s a size 6, and weighs 2.1g. We believe this ring is from the Edwardian era, circa 1910...

Here is a stickpin featuring a yummy burnt-orange colored oval carnelian, set in 10kt gold and surrounded by an oval of gold set with 4 seed pearls. It is marked 10kt. The setting measures 13/16” x 1/2", and the whole thing 2-3/8". The pin has a bit of a bend to it toward the top, otherwise in excellent antique condition. Most likely Victorian or Edwardian. Please take care in reading this description and looking at the photos, as we are not responsible for buyer remorse...

This gorgeous piece sports 2 large and lovely peridots. The central stone is cushion cut, and the dangle is pear-shaped. It is decorated with a total of 28 seed pearls of slightly varying colors, set into the leaves & vine-like gold ribbons. It is marked 14k on 1 leaf and the spring ring. In excellent condition. The decorative panels measure 3-1/2" x 1", and the whole thing measures 15-1/4" total (I have gold necklace extenders available if that’s too short)...

Here is a gorgeous pendant/pin with a stylized motif of green to yellow enamel in a floral pattern reminiscent of the French fleur-de-lis. It is centered by a small diamond (approx. 5 points), and has a pearl-set modified starburst accenting the enameled “petals.” 14k rose gold, it measures 1” in diameter at the widest point. The bale folds down neatly when it’s worn as a brooch. We have had the enamel touched up at the edges, so it is now in excellent condition. Chain not included. Plea...

This sweet little guy has a quizzical look on his face, and is just adorable! It is unmarked, but the gold tests at about 12k. The total length is 2-1/8”, and the dog’s face is ½” x 7/16”. It weighs 0.9g. He may be a Weimaraner. They were bred as hunting dogs in the early 19th Century in Germany, and were named after the Grand Duke Weimar. In real life they are a silvery color, but this guy is a nice warm gold. Wikipedia tells us “The Weimaraner is loyal and loving to his family, an i...

This gypsy ring is made from a lovely rich yellow 18 kt gold. The center stone is a diamond, the 2 outer stones are rubies. It has nice decorative scroll work carving on the shoulders. The hallmarks are for Chester, 1903, and there is a maker’s mark that we can’t decipher. It weighs .14 oz, and is approximately a size 5. The shank is a little off round, and it may have been sized at some time, but it is in excellent condition. Please take care in reading this description and looking at the p...

This unusual and stunning garland-type necklace has a rigid cross piece. Above is a chain running through loops over 5 oval amethysts with excellent color, each of which is set in an inverted heart-shaped framework, and separated from the next by a tiny pearl. Set below each amethyst is a seed pearl, and below the framework are 7 draping chains, the central 5 each having a freshwater pearl. At each end of the setting is an additional little round amethyst, for a total of 7. In earlier times, ame...

This gorgeous necklace would have looked great on Rose on the Titanic! It features 13 Madera citrines (birthstone for November; it is said to bring joy and optimism into one’s life) – 3 clusters of 3 each, and 4 set singly. The central cluster has a pearl dangle. The rose gold is marked 9ct on the clasp, but it tests as a weak 10k. No other marks. Wearable length is 18-3/4”. Excellent condition. The clasp is a little fussy, but easily replaced. Circa 1910 or earlier. Please read this descr...

Here is a sweet garland or festoon necklace composed of seed pearls set in 10 kt gold, with two pearls built into the draping chains, and a longer pearl dangle. The whole thing measures 14-5/8” (and I have gold necklace extenders if it’s too short for you). The decorated section measures 1-1/4” x ¾” including the dangle. It is in excellent condition, but one seed pearl is missing. It’s really hard to tell - I only noticed it when I was looking at it under the microscope. Circa 1910 ...

Here is a pretty lady’s face in profile. Her long golden hair trails down to end with a tiny baroque or freshwater pearl. Total length of the face, hair and pearl is nearly ¾”. This design was based on a drawing by Charles Dana Gibson – a Gibson Girl! Please see the final photograph. It is hallmarked 14k, weighs 1.2g, and is in excellent condition. It doesn’t have a maker’s mark, but I have seen this exact stick pin with Alling’s mark. Circa 1900. Please read this description and l...

This beautiful pendant has a very Gothic feel to it. It is centered by an amethyst with good color. Amethysts were thought to bring clarity of mind and calmness – not to mention being useful as a preventative against drunkenness! Also good for those who are over stressed – and that’s basically everybody these days, right? The stone measures 9mm x 7mm, and the whole thing measures 1-7/16” x 11/16”. North, south, east and west there are pearl-set trefoils – thus the Gothic feel – pl...

In China, the ginkgo was thought to be a symbol of longevity, peace and hope. This lovely jewel features a circle of 6 ginkgo leaves radiating out around a tiny diamond, with rows of seed pearls in between. The enamel is lovely, detailed, and subtle. It is both a brooch and a pendant. The bale is on a swivel; it folds down neatly so that it’s invisible when worn as a brooch. Unmarked but tested 14k rose gold, about 33 pearls, and an approximately .02 full cut old diamond, just slightly chipped...
