This sweet jewel consists of a circle of gold enameled in deep blue, with gold highlights. Through it is tied a 3-looped bow, decorated with tiny seed pearls, as are the bail and drop. There are a few places where the enamel appears to have been applied less than perfectly, and a couple very tiny chips, but these very minor flaws are visible only with magnification...

Ancient Greeks though amber was sunshine which had solidified and fallen to earth – how romantic! Here are some satisfyingly chunky amber earrings, made from heat-treated amber, with ear wires which test as a gold wash or vermeil. Total hanging length is 2-2/8”. Please read this description and look at the photos very carefully, as we are not responsible for buyer remorse. Thanks! Shipping, handling & insurance within the USA included.

Here is a stickpin featuring a yummy burnt-orange colored oval carnelian, set in 10kt gold and surrounded by an oval of gold set with 4 seed pearls. It is marked 10kt. The setting measures 13/16” x 1/2", and the whole thing 2-3/8". The pin has a bit of a bend to it toward the top, otherwise in excellent antique condition. Most likely Victorian or Edwardian. Please take care in reading this description and looking at the photos, as we are not responsible for buyer remorse...

Gorgeous stickpin depicting a woman in profile with a pearl nestled in her curls. Marked 14k, yellow gold, and signed by the maker. It measures 2-3/8”, and weighs 2.0g or .07 oz. The pin is slightly bent, and the back is dented a little, but this doesn’t detract from the beauty of this enchanting jewel. Historical note: Mr. Blank of Whiteside & Blank was a Titanic survivor! Circa 1900...

This lovely ring is made from 10kt (marked and tested) yellow gold, with a navette-shaped ruby flanked by two tiny accent diamonds. (Ruby is the birthstone for July, and is a symbol of love, devotion, and immortality.) It also has a maker’s mark, which is either “QJ” or “OJ”. The 2 tiny accent diamonds are set in white metal – it’s not possible to tell what it is...

Associated with summer, positivity, and romantic passion, citrines are perfect for a wedding pendant – and to wear ever after! Measuring just over 2” long including the decorated bale by just over 1-1/2”, it weighs 5.3g. The citrines are set in 800 silver with a heavy gold gilding which looks just lovely with the stones. Unmarked, but the gilt tests as 10k, and from the early part of the 1900s, it is in excellent condition except for the missing central dangle...

This wonderful Edwardian/Art Nouveau necklace would have been right at home on the Titanic! Both the size and the pearl and diamond dangle make it remarkable. It measures 1-1/4” at the widest point, and from the top-most diamond to the bottom of the dropper it is 2-1/4”...

This delicate little lady was made by Jean-Baptiste-Emile Dropsy, one of the famous French medalists. The design was usually made out of a heavy gold plate, but this one is 18k rosy gold, unmarked but tested. Signed by Dropsy on the front, as is usual with French medals, it measures ½” in diameter (with the jump ring, 7/8”), and weighs 1.5g. It could be worn as a pendant or a very classy charm. In excellent condition, showing a gentle patina, and Circa 1900...

This ring is centered by a lovely piece of navette-shaped lapis lazuli, with specks of pyrite for a bit of sparkle. The stone measures ¾” N to S, and ¼” E to W. The setting is made of 14k yellow gold, formed into graceful curlicues. It is stamped 14k, and also has a maker’s mark, which appears to be “KBN” and also a dot in a circle. The size is between 5-1/4 and 5-1/2, and it weighs 5.5 g or .19 oz...

Here is a sweet garland or festoon necklace composed of seed pearls set in 10 kt gold, with two pearls built into the draping chains, and a longer pearl dangle. The whole thing measures 14-5/8” (and I have gold necklace extenders if it’s too short for you)...

This sweet lady is made of unmarked but tested 18k yellow gold. Spangled with 8 tiny diamonds (the birthstone for April), and with her hair swept up into a bun with whispy tendrils of hairs around her ears, she is just charming! She measures 1” x 1”, and weighs 2.5g. The gold is a little worn at the high points, and I had the ring repaired, as it was worn very thin – someone clearly loved this jewel! On the back, it looks as though someone made a groove for testing the gold. Otherwise in v...

This striking jewel tests as at least 14k. It is set with what I believe is an iolite, and 4 pear-shaped purple garnets, all foiled, all set within an Etruscan Revival motif of coiling decorated gold ropes and leaves. It is graced with two gold dangling chains. The brooch measures 1-1/2 x 1-1/2 x 3/4" deep and weighs 8.7g/.31oz. With the chains, the whole piece measure 2-1/2” long. The pin stem assembly appears to be all original. There is one tiny hole in the gold, which is not visible from t...

This great pin from England features a large peridot (1 cm x 6 mm or 3/8” x 2/8”), and, on either side, pearl-set clover heads. Flanking those are 3 demantoids per side, plus 1 above and 1 below the peridot. PERIDOTS are the birthstone for August. They symbolize spring, youthfulness, and bring health and wealth! Off to either side is a whiplash of pearl-set gold. On the back, “15ct” is carved into the gold. The pin stem assembly is original, and it weighs .18 oz or 5.1 g. It measures 1-9...

Amethysts are traditionally stones that aid in clarity of mind, putting the wearer in touch with their intuitions, and helping to cure headaches – and they are famous for aiding in sobriety! This large amethyst should be a great help, measuring 10mm across. It is set in a framework of leaves that bring to mind the Arts and Crafts era, with another on the bale, and a fringe of tiny seed pearls dangle below. It is marked and tested 14k gold and weighs 1.8g. I believe it was made during the 1960s...

Ladies, you can do the same, or use it for a locket or charm or whatever you like! Each link, which looks like a little book – hence the name - has a pattern stamped or carved into it. Some links show some wear consistent with age. It weighs 17.1g and is quite charming! Please read this description and look at the photos very carefully, as we are not responsible for b...

Here is a lovely and graceful fairy, made in the Art Nouveau style. While new, she still conveys the design ethos of a bygone era. (During the Nouveau era – roughly 1890–1915 - there were very few fairy jewels made.) She is made from 18k yellow gold, and her wings are plique a jour (translucent enamel). The colors shade from pink to almost white, and then into green. Her golden hair is accented by a round brilliant cut diamond, and at her feet is a cultured pearl dangle. The back is marked...
