This intriguing locket has a saint, probably St. Peter, holding a key (to the church? To heaven?), and with a bird – a dove? - in the background) on one side, and a photograph of an ecclesiastical-looking person on the other. It contains a touched relic (a bit of ribbon which has been touched to a saint’s bone or something worn by a saint), a tiny metal medal with Mary on one side, saying "Mary conceived without sin” and more Christian imagery on the other, and a wisp of cotton...

Here is a shield-shaped sorority pin (9/16 x ½”), with 16 tiny seed pearls set around the perimeter, and 3 colored stones. The 2 upper stones are emerald green, the bottom one is sapphire blue. Emeralds (birthstone for May) have been thought to preserve love, and bring wisdom. These sweet bright green emerald earrings are unmarked, but the gold tests as 14k. They are 13/16” long, and the buttercup settings measure ½” across. The stones measure 5-1/2mm across. I believe the ear wires used to have hooks to slip into, but those are gone and the stubs filed down and smoothed over for comfort. One of the emeralds is chipped in the back, but both stones face up very well...

Each end is marked WHITE GOLD FRONT BELAIS 14K; TALON GRIP TRADEMARK, and is octagonal, measuring 5/8 x 7/16”, with rigid connectors, hinged at one end.
