This handsome fellow is either a moose or an elk – I can’t tell the difference! His head measures 5/8 x 11/16". The gold tests at 14k. His red eye is too small to identify, so assume glass. There are marks, but I can’t read them. It weighs 1.4g or 0.05oz. and is in excellent condition. Circa 1900.

This lovely lady is made from 14k gold – there are the remains of a mark, so I tested it. She is framed by a stylized shell motif, and has flowers and a diamond in her upswept hair, as well as another diamond nestled in her décolletage. This watch pin or brooch is of hollow construction, and weighs 4.7g. It measures 1” x 1-1/4”. The pin stem assembly is original. Her face is a little worn in the high places, and the back has darkened in a couple places...

Here is a sweetly smiling Art Nouveau girl rendered in 14k yellow gold. She has a flower to one side, and greenery to the other. The ring is a size 3-1/4, and it is possible that it has been sized. Just lovely, and circa 1900.

Dramatic Victorian brooch with two round black onyxes. At least 14 karat gold, it is centered by a baroque or freshwater pearl, and has two draping chains to highlight a central dogs-tooth pearl dangle. Further decorated by swirls and ropes of gold. It measures 1-11/16 x 1-1/4”, and the chains and dangle add another inch (making it 2-1/4” long in total). It is in excellent condition...

Here is a pretty 14k gold and enameled red flower, centered by a pearl, in an Art Nouveau framework. One leaf sports green enamel. It’s marked 14k on the clasp and has a plaque with the mark for Bippart, Griscom & Osborn. It measures a dainty 5/8 x 15/16", and weighs 2.6g. In excellent condition. Circa 1890. This sweet jewel consists of a circle of gold enameled in deep blue, with gold highlights. Through it is tied a 3-looped bow, decorated with tiny seed pearls, as are the bail and drop. There are a few places where the enamel appears to have been applied less than perfectly, and a couple very tiny chips, but these very minor flaws are visible only with magnification...

Here is a sweet sky-blue enamel pendant with blue enamel dropper, on an interesting sterling chain. It tests as silver, most likely Sterling. It has two shades of light blue enamel on the front, highlighted by silver flourishes and dots. The dropper is also enameled in shaded hues of blue. The enamel continues on the back in sky blue – so lovely! Excluding the bale but including the dropper, it is 1-1/2” long by just under ¾” across...

Here is an interesting charm, composed of turquoise, malachite, and what I believe is dyed coral and lapis. Because of the way the stones are set, it’s hard to get definitive readings. They are separated by bands of silver, and in a setting marked Sterling. It is Native American, and someone in the know told me that it is a Navajo realization of a Zuni design. It is 1-1/4” in length, including the ring.

This fantastic ring is elegant yet hefty, weighing in at 11.5 grams or .4 ounces. The top (measuring 5/8 x 5/8”) is shaped into a rectangle with a Nouveau slant, and has no monogram – so unusual! The shanks are beautifully carved with Nouveau swirls which are deeply incised. It is unmarked 14k gold, and size 9-1/4. Circa 1900.

This beautiful lavalier is made from 10k rose gold, with the two little swirls at the bottom being a subtle greenish gold. In a straight line down from the bale are a seed pearl, an opal with excellent color, and an oval amethyst. There are a further 6 tiny seed pearls. It is marked 10k on the bale, and measures 1” x 7/8" not including the bale. There is a slight color variation of the rose gold in the bottom left quadrant, but it doesn’t have any impact on the beauty of the piece...

Here is a great pair of 14k cufflinks set with red-orange coral cabochons. The cabs measure ¾” x 1/2" and the set weighs in at 10.1 g or .36 oz. Most likely from the 1960s, and in excellent condition.
