Here is a bar pin of stylized silver fleur-de-lys against a striking background of bronze. Made by the very well-known Heintz Art Metal Shop, it is unsigned, but they very rarely signed their jewelry, and their work is very distinct. It measures 2-1/16” x 5/16" and has the original pin stem assembly. Circa 1915. Please read this description and look at the photos very carefully, as we are not responsible for buyer remorse. Thanks! Shipping, handling & insurance free within the USA.

Here is a fantastic very dimensional brooch depicting a Fox trotting through a forest. His neck is encircled by a collar of emeralds with a diamond dangling from it. He is behind a tree (a ginko?) whose leaves are enameled green, and its fruit is made up of 3 more diamonds. He is encircled by branches, and below him is a ruby. The estimated total weight of the old-cut diamonds is 40 points (4/10ths of a carat). He is 1-3/4” x 1-1/2" and weighs a hefty 13.8g...

Here is a splendid, very feminine necklace which drapes beautifully over the collarbones. It is made from an unusual hue of rose gold – closer to red than I’m used to seeing in antique jewelry. The garlands of gold are highlighted by 5 tiny stars of gold set with seed pearls and hanging from little plaques which are also set with seed pearls. The whole thing measures 15-1/4”, and the drapery section is 6-3/8”. The longest drape falls about 1-1/4”...

Here is a lovely vintage wedding set with an estimated total diamond weight of 41 points (41/100ths of a carat). It is marked 14k, "FRCO", and "LOVE SONG", and is a size 6-1/4. Please take care in reading this description and looking at the photos, as I am not responsible for buyer remorse...

This lovely and unusual Georgian pin is most likely a mourning piece. Made from 18k yellow gold, with rose gold and platinum accents, the center panel has two hearts (one of gold, one of platinum) under beveled crystal. It is surrounded by gold and platinum flowers and leaves, and has a delicate cannetille framework. It is unmarked, but tests as 18k. It weighs 3.6g or .12oz, and measures 7/8” x 5/8”, so it is quite small. Probably English, it is circa 1835...

Here is a hard-to-find Billiken stick pin! Billiken was patented in 1908 by Florence Pretz, in Kansas City, MO. She designated him “the god of things as they ought to be” – what a fantastic conceit! Paye & Baker, of Attleboro, MA were given exclusive rights to make Billikens in silver and gold (see “Warman’s Jewelry, 3rd ed, by Christie Romero. Every time I saw Christie she was wearing a gold Billiken necklace). He measures 9/16 x 3/8 x 2-1/4" long, and weighs 1.2g...

This locket is gorgeous! The front is centered by an old-cut diamond (tested) in a golden flower, surrounded by a narrow band of cobalt blue enamel, then a wide band of white enamel decorated with gold garlands. Next are 2 narrow concentric circles of cobalt blue enamel, punctuated by 6 tiny seed pearls. Finally there is a circle of flourishes in mellow (marked) 14k gold. The back has an elaborate monogram. Inside it has 2 photo rings, but no plastic or glass (which would be easy to replace)...

This little pin is truly beautiful. Enameled in subtle shades of yellow and pink, and centered by a diamond, it will grace any garment. On the clasp are a hallmark for 14k and the mark for Whiteside & Blank, a famous firm located in Newark, New Jersey, during the Art Nouveau years. These flower pins have become enormously popular in the last few years, and consequently are hard to get. This one is in excellent condition, measures 7/8”, and weighs in at 3.75 g or .13 oz...

These fun earrings are made of (tested) 14k yellow and rose gold. They consist of stars dangling from box chains, with balls hanging from more chain, which dangle freely. The chains hang from half balls which are fastened to the ear wires. Very sweet and playful! One of them is signed “E06”, and possibly “14”. The other also has a mark, but it is illegible. They have a total length of 2”, and are 1/2” wide at the widest. They weigh 2.8g or .10oz, and are in excellent condition. I...

Here is a rare and splendid red-eyed dragonfly from Germany. It is sterling silver with a gold wash, marked “STERLING” and “DEPOSE”. There is also a partial maker’s mark, almost certainly for Meyle & Mayer, who were producing enamel jewelry in Germany at the turn of the last century. The plique shades from yellow through turquoise to a dark blue. A few of the central plique panels have some hairline cracks (usual for these lovely old pieces), but very few bubbles (not so usual!). One p...
