A very Art Nouveau pin, consisting of (tested) 14kt yellow gold ribbons in a swirling design surrounding a 5-petaled flower, centered by a small single cut accent diamond. The diamond has a couple tiny chips which are not visible without magnification. This pin measures just under 1” wide by just over 1” long and weighs 3.2g. Unmarked. In very good condition overall. I have done a little cleaning of the gold to brighten it up. Circa 1900. NOTE that we will only accept a check for this item...

Here is a stickpin featuring a yummy burnt-orange colored oval carnelian, set in 10kt gold and surrounded by an oval of gold set with 4 seed pearls. It is marked 10kt. The setting measures 13/16” x 1/2", and the whole thing 2-3/8". The pin has a bit of a bend to it toward the top, otherwise in excellent antique condition. Most likely Victorian or Edwardian. This pair of identical rich yellow gold pins would be an excellent addition to your collection of Victorian jewelry! 1-1/4” x ¼”, they say “BEBE” on the front. They test as 9k, weigh 3.0 g, and the findings are signed “VID”. There are tiny flowers and floral designs at the edges. It looks like the findings are old replacements. One of them has 2 brownish stains on the back, otherwise in excellent condition...

Weird but wonderful, and SO Victorian! Here is a grooming chatelaine from some time in the 1800s – very hard to put a more specific age to this. It has a Chinese fish motif at the top, and dangling from that are 3 implements, a tweezers, an ear-cleaning device, and a third implement for cleaning nails. It tests positive for silver, but is unmarked and with a patina consistent with age. It is lacking a belt hook, otherwise in excellent antique condition. The whole thing measures 6-3/4”...

This striking brooch is just lovely! It has flowers – poppies? – with curved flowing lines, mounted on a mother of pearl oval. The flower is silver plate, and is worn in places (I find that the worn places actually serve as highlights). The mother of pearl is convex. It measures 1-3/4” x 1-3/8”. The pin assembly is mounted on a base metal plaque, and is of the old style. It rattles a little, but is firmly in place...

Great cuff links by Belais, one of the companies who pioneered in the use of white gold, and so very collectible. They are double sided, with decorated separating links, and each “end” measures 9/16” x1/2". They are marked “White Gold Front Belais 14k”, and “Talon Grip Trade Mark”. They weigh 6.1g or .21oz, and the fronts are in very good condition. A bit of reddish metal – copper? – shows through on the backs, which is wear consistent with age. Circa 1920...

Here is a set composed of cufflinks made from 2 large oval (¾” x ½”) peacock glass cabs set in circles of textured circles of gold-toned metal measuring just under 1” across, and a tie tac made from a smaller cab (3/8” x ¼”), also set in gold-toned metal. The set was probably made in the 1950s or ‘60s, although the peacock glass itself is probably from the early 20th C. Unmarked and in excellent condition...

Here is a sterling silver fancy-link chain, which is interesting enough to be worn on its own, or of course you can hang a pendant or watch from it. It measures 26”, and the links are ¼” or 4mm wide at the widest point. It weighs 5.6g or 0.19 oz, and is in excellent condition. This pretty stick pin is classic Art Nouveau. Centered by an amethyst, with a seed pearl above and one below, and in a whiplash frame, it measures ½” x 2-1/4" long and weighs 1.5g or .05oz. It is marked and tested 14k yellow gold, with an illegible maker’s mark...

This very sparkly stunner has 2 big paste stones (7/16”), 2 smaller ones (1/4”), and 8 small accent stones (there should be 9, but one is missing), set in white metal. The whole thing measures 2” x 9/16”. Stamped “Czechoslov” on the back, it is in overall good condition: the stones have a couple chips, and a little abrasion, but the stones are so sparkly it’s hard to spot these. The clasp is bent over a bit, but still works just fine. I believe it’s circa 1920. Please read this ...
