Here is a lovely and sparkly Victorian brooch, in the form of a crescent moon on a knife-edged bar. At each end of the bar is a ruby, and in the middle is a cluster of 8 diamonds centered by a pearl. The moon is set with 21 round and cushion cut rubies, and 19 diamonds. The diamonds are set in silver, and the rubies in 14k rose gold. This splendid jewel looks so rich! Bright gems set into beautiful 15kt gold – what’s not to love? Two fairly large oval pink topazes are the centerpieces, surrounded by swirls of seed-pearl-set gold, and set off by 4 bright green demantoid garnets, 2 of which are round, and set into the fine chains which connect the top section to the bottom; of the other 2, one is a modified pear shape, the other oval. Here is a stunning carved dragon in palest green to medium green jade. The jade measures 2-5/8” x 1-1/2”. It has a (marked) 18k yellow gold mount with a leafy motif, bringing the total height to 3-1/4”. The weight is an impressive 1.53 oz or 52.9 g. This unusual and stunning garland-type necklace has a rigid cross piece. Above is a chain running through loops over 5 oval amethysts with excellent color, each of which is set in an inverted heart-shaped framework, and separated from the next by a tiny pearl. Set below each amethyst is a seed pearl, and below the framework are 7 chain swags, the central 5 each having a freshwater pearl. At each end of the setting is an additional little round amethyst...

Here is a truly wonderful Edwardian/Art Nouveau pendant or lavalier. Both the size and the pearl and diamond dangle make it remarkable. It measures 1-1/4” at the widest point, and from the top-most diamond to the bottom of the dropper it is 2-1/4”. The dropper is a dogtooth pearl, 11/16” long, which has a collar of gold around it, set with 3 tiny diamonds, and swirls of gold holding 4 more little pearls! Wow! Here is a lovely cameo of an elegant lady in profile. She is surrounded by seed pearls strung on a wire, and then a ring of decorated gold, with small floral-type sprays, each centered by more tiny pearls. It can be worn as a necklace or a brooch. The whole thing measures 2-3/4” x 1-5/16". There is a 14k mark on the clasp, and a maker’s mark: “P.P.S.” In overall excellent condition, with no chips, although there is a slight dent to the gold frame at the lower right hand edge...

This very beautiful and unusual ring, with a continuous wheat sheaf pattern, most likely comes out of the turn of the last century, according to a jewelry historian. She also said it was probably made using a process called “die rolling.” It is marked “22ct”, “PLATINUM”, and the maker’s mark is “B’s”. This striking jewel tests as at least 14k. It is set with what I believe is an iolite, and 4 pear-shaped purple garnets, all foiled, all set within an Etruscan Revival motif of coiling decorated gold ropes and leaves. It is graced with two gold dangling chains. The pin measures 1-1/2 x 1-1/2 x 3/4" deep and weighs 8.7g/.31oz. With the chains, the whole piece measure 2-1/2” long. Here is a gorgeous old Victorian brooch in the shape of a love knot, which was most likely a wedding gift to a bride. This lovely and delicate garland necklace features a green enameled heart with orange highlights and seed pearls. Off to the sides are wings set with seed pearls. Above are gold curlicues, and below is a diamond dropper. It’s got a faint 10K mark on the back, but tests as 14K. Here is a fantastic Arts & Crafts style necklace, featuring 5 drops with a total of 11 moonstone cabs, 5 little rubies and 5 little sapphires. The rubies and sapphires are of an old fashioned cut. Each drop is 15/16", with an 18" total length. The chain is adjustable, as you can see in the photos. It weighs 11.4g or 0.40oz.
