This sterling silver fancy-link chain from the era of the Titanic (but possibly as late as the Art Deco period – Downton Abbey!), is interesting enough to be worn on its own, or you can could hang a pendant or watch from it. The clasp is stamped “Sterling”. It measures 26”, and the links are ¼” or 4mm wide at the widest point. It weighs 5.6g or 0.19 oz, and is in excellent condition...

This elegant locket is made out of (tested) 14k yellow gold. The front is partially enameled in black, with seed pearls and a floral design. The back is beautifully engraved, and the overall shape is rather unusual. Inside, both sides are set up for photos or mementos, backed up by blue fabric. It measures 1-5/8” x 3/4” and weighs 4.5g. In overall very good antique condition. Please read this description and look at the photos very carefully, as we are not responsible for buyer remorse...

These gorgeous cuff links are composed of slightly oval rock crystals carved with a seashell-like pattern, intersected by rows of calibre-cut blue sapphires. 18k (tested) white gold backs and links are marked with what appears to be European hallmarks – they are too blurry to read. The rock crystals measure 5/8” x 9/16”, and together they weigh 7.2g. Please read this description and look at the photos very carefully, as we are not responsible for buyer remorse...

These collar tips feature a Nouveau-style design of a lady in profile with flowers in her hair. She looks very serene. The ladies themselves are silver plated, and the mounts are made out of white metal. They’re probably fairly contemporary, and in good used condition. Measuring 1-3/8” x 1-1/8”, they weigh 18.5g. Please read this description and look at the photos very carefully, as we are not responsible for buyer remorse. Thanks! Shipping, handling & insurance within the USA included.

Gentlemen: this terrific lion is just waiting to take his place on your tie or lapel! Made from unmarked but tested 14kt yellow gold, with tiny red stones for eyes, and a (cultured?) pearl in his jaws, he measures 7/16” x ½”. The findings are either a low-carat gold or gold filled. The lion himself weighs 1.5g, and the total weight is 4.1g. He probably began life as a stickpin, circa 1900, and is in excellent condition...

Here is a pretty 15k gold ring, made in Birmingham in England. There are 4 purplish garnets across the top, in excellent condition, highlighted by 6 seed pearls. Garnets (January birthstone) are known as the “stones of love and devotion,” and are also thought to bring balance to life. The setting is closed backed, and inside the engraved shank it is fully hallmarked with the anchor for Birmingham, “15” and “625” for 15k gold, and the X for 1872-1873...

This striking jewel tests as at least 14k. It is set with what we believe is an iolite, and 4 pear-shaped purple garnets, all foiled, all set within an Etruscan Revival motif of coiling decorated gold ropes and leaves. It is graced with two gold dangling chains. The brooch measures 1-1/2 x 1-1/2 x 3/4" deep and weighs 8.7g/.31oz. With the chains, the whole piece measure 2-1/2” long. The pin stem assembly appears to be all original...

These cuff links are really pretty! The Nouveau sensibility is strong – flowing lines highlighting a naturalistic motif of iris blossoms. Irises symbolize hope, valor, and wisdom. The French fleur-de-lis is modeled on an iris. Unmarked, they test as 10k gold. The decorated panels are 1” x ½”, and they weigh 3.9g. This lovely slide bracelet has 11 (10K & 14k) gold slides, some of which have opals and seed pearls and what looks like coral. The central slide depicts a beautiful Art Nouveau flower. The clasp is gold filled or 9k, the gold paperclip chain tests as 10k, but the round beads are hard to test beyond confirming that they are gold. One slide has a 14k hallmark and a maker’s mark, and one other has a maker’s mark, which looks like an oak leaf. It weighs in at 16.6g...

Here is a very pretty brooch from the Arts & Crafts/Art Nouveau era. It features an oval purple cabochon, possibly glass, centered between two hammered leaves (very A&C), all on a very Art Nouveau framework. Marked “DEPOS” (probably meant to say “DEPOSE”, i.e., patented), it is most likely from Germany. There are two illegible marks, one on the C-clasp, and one on the back. It tests as silver, measures 1-3/4” x 3/4", and weighs 4.4 g. The surface of the cabochon is somewhat abraded, a...

Here is a small, charming gold-filled Victorian or Edwardian fretwork pin. It measures 15/16” x 7/8”. Somewhat worn in places, but still very pretty. Oddly, the watch hanger tests as 10k. Signed SIMMONS and RFS & Co (for the R.F. Simmons Co. of Attleboro, MA). Circa 1900. Please read this description and look at the photos very carefully, as we are not responsible for buyer remorse. Here is a really lovely, easy-to-wear ring that could have been worn by Daisy Buchanan in The Great Gatsby, or any of the stylish ladies of Downton Abbey. A cabochon of green chalcedony (thought by Native Americans to promote harmony and good will), reminiscent of high quality jade, is surrounded by red and green enamel on the setting. The shank has Celtic interlace decoration (also called entrelac), highlighted with more red and green enamel. It is just slightly smaller than size 6, and the top...

Here is a brooch with an ancient Celtic design – two birds with enameled wings, bodies and eyes, with interlaced silver above and below. The enamel is in green, blue, white, and red. It is marked 925 for sterling silver, and has several other marks which are illegible. 1-1/2” X 1-1/4”. There are a couple places where the enamel isn’t perfect – please see photos. Probably a more recent casting of an older piece, and very pretty. Please read this description and look at the photos very...

This lovely ring is made from 10kt (marked and tested) yellow gold, with a navette-shaped ruby flanked by two tiny accent diamonds. (Ruby is the birthstone for July, and is a symbol of love, devotion, and immortality.) It also has a maker’s mark, which is either “QJ” or “OJ”. The 2 tiny accent diamonds are set in white metal – it’s not possible to tell if it’s platinum or white gold. It’s a size six, and very sweet indeed! The beetle is in very good condition (though the pin is slightly bent), and is set in unmarked but tested 14k rose gold. The beetle itself is 9/16” x 7/16” at the widest point, and is held firmly in place by 4 prongs. The whole thing is 2-3/4” long. The Victorians loved to use all kinds of organic things in their jewelry, including real beetles. This particular type seems to have been a favorite. They are very collectible! We have been told they are late Victorian, so probably Circa 1880. ...

Here is a sweet ring, consisting of a flower made of 6 pearls (1 of which is a replacement), centered by a tiny rose cut diamond. There is a compartment underneath, perhaps for storing a tiny lock of hair, but the glass is gone. The ring tests as a very strong 14k, so it is probably 15k. There is cobalt blue enameling on the shoulders, which we’ve had repaired – this ring was obviously well loved, and it’s still beautiful. Size 6. Early Victorian. Please read this description and look at ...
