Here is a lovely ring, from either the early Victorian or late Georgian period, in rose gold which tests as 18k. The center stone is a ruby cut in an older style, but in excellent condition - possibly a replacement stone. It is surrounded by 8 rose cut and more randomly-cut diamonds that might be foiled, but in any case are in a closed-back setting. Typically for the period, a couple of them are chipped or have fractures. It is unmarked and has a nice patina...

Here is a very pretty ring with a triangular synthetic alexandrite and 2 full-cut diamond accent stones. The stone is a steel blue in daylight, and a pretty purple in incandescent light, with teal blue flashes; it measures ¼” per side. Size 7-3/4, and easily sized. It is marked 10k and is in excellent condition – I believe it was never worn. Circa 2000. Here is a lovely watch pin made of marked and tested 14k gold, many seed pearls, and 2 accent diamonds. The motif consists of leaves and vines, with 2 pretty little flowers with heart-shaped petals, and it’s just beautiful. It measures 1-1/8 x 1-1/4" and weighs in at 6.9g. One seed pearl was missing, so we had it replaced. The pin stem assembly is original. It could be cleaned a little, but it looks great as is. In excellent condition, and circa 1910...

This lovely 15kt gold ring has 5 almondine garnets - birthstone for January - and 8 tiny green stones, most likely emeralds (their setting is closed-backed, which makes them harder to ID) – birthstone for May. The 15k (marked) setting has scrollwork along the edges, and engraved shanks. There are 2 other marks which are illegible. The stones have wear consistent with age, otherwise in very good antique condition. Approximately size 7.25, and it weighs 2.3g...

Measuring 1-1/8”, and marked 10k, he is set up inside for 2 photographs with both celluloid and photo rings. He also sports a maker’s mark for Kroll. In excellent condition and Circa 1900. Here is a lovely lady with lilies in her hair. Water lilies have symbolized purity, enlightenment, and resurrection. This lady is remarkably similar to a piece made by the Unger Bros., but marked only STERLING – and the stamp is reversed! I believe her to be a copy, but still made around 1900 – this seemed to have happened fairly frequently back in the day. She has the patina of age, a pin stem assembly which is correct for the turn of the last century, and the back of the pin has some scra...

Here is a sweet little pin, measuring 7/8” across. It’s very autumnal, with leaves enameled in shades of green, yellow and orange, alternating with leaves set with 3 seed pearls each, and centering another seed pearl. The findings are original, with a neat security clasp. On the clasp is a maker’s mark consisting of an arrow with a circle at the end, probably for Robert Klitz, of New York. No hallmarks, but it tests for 14k gold. Circa 1900. Please read this description and look at the ph...

This classic brooch features a ribbon and flower motif, with a ring of white enamel in the center. The central pearl is most probably original, but the pearl on the dangle may be a replacement (as so many are). It is marked with the French eagle for 18k gold and partial owl marks with “73”, indicating a piece that was imported into France post 1893 and assayed in the town of Rouen. There is also what looks like a blurry French maker’s mark, oddly. It measures 1-1/2" x 1-1/4" including the ...
