Here is a pair of earrings which we had made over from a single cuff link, made c. 1920. Recycling/upcycling at its best! My jeweler came up with an ingenious way of creating these earrings – please see the photos. The backing of each (old) peacock glass setting is marked STERLING, and the (new) ear wires are sterling as well. Each cab measures 9/16” x 5/16", and the earrings hang a total of 1-1/2” each...

Here is a very nice pair of earrings, in excellent condition. Measuring 13/16” x 1-1/16", in a rounded rectangular shape, with a center oval outlined in gold, they are quite elegant. They are clip-ons. No marks, but perhaps circa the 1950s, they would lend themselves to many different outfits and occasions. Please read this description and look at the photos very carefully, as we are not responsible for buyer remorse. Thanks! Shipping, handling & insurance within the USA included.

Here is a lovely pair of white gold-fronted double cuff links – they could have been worn by Gatsby himself! Each end is marked BELAIS 14k W.G. FRONT, and is a rectangle measuring 5/8 x ½”, with rigid connectors, hinged at one end. There is space for a monogram, should you wish it. They weigh a total of 5g. Belais Brothers were amongst the first to develop a formula for white gold (patented in 1917)...

Shades of emerald, peridot and topaz set in gold-tone metal, make this a wonderful piece, and its size makes it a statement. Measuring 2-1/2” x 1-1/2”, it is in excellent condition. All the stones are present, and prong set. There are some repairs on the back, and it’s possible that the pin stem assembly is not original, but none of that has any impact on the beauty of this piece...

These two fierce dragons look like they are facing off for battle! The locket measures 1-1/8”, not including the bale. It is accented with 4 paste stones, 1 red, 2 blue, and 1 colorless. It is unmarked, gold filled, and shows the patina of age. The back has a 3-letter monogram. Inside it is completely ready for 2 photos, and actually has one – a Victorian lady. Circa 1900. Please read this description and look at the photos very carefully, as we are not responsible for buyer remorse...

This ring is one of our absolute favorites! The central diamond is approximately 20 points (1/5 of a carat), set in platinum. The rest of the setting is made of unmarked 14k gold of a lovely rich yellow. There are 4 tiny rubies and 3 tiny demantoid garnets. It’s very hard to ID the 4th green stone, due the size and setting, but it is mostly likely another demantoid. It’s a size 6, and weighs 2.1g. We believe this ring is from the Edwardian era, circa 1910...

Ruby is the birthstone for July, and symbolizes love, devotion, and immortality. Pearls symbolize purity and harmony. What a great combination for these pretty earrings! They are marked 375 for 9 karat gold, although they test as 10k. The hanging flower basket motif is quite charming! They contain a total of 16 rubies and 18 seed pearls. The total length is 1-7/8”, and they weight 4.3g. As usual with older earrings, it’s possible that the wires are replacements. In excellent condition...

We love this pin! The colors are so pretty, and the leafy design is so very Arts & Crafts. It consists of a leaf and berry motif, highlighted by a central cushion-cut chalcedony cab (thought to bring good luck, with a circular aventurine cab on either side. Measuring 1-3/4” x 3/8", it is unmarked but tests as silver. It is in excellent condition, although the pin is a litte bent...

This very sparkly stunner has 2 big paste stones (7/16”), 2 smaller ones (1/4”), and 8 small accent stones (there should be 9, but one is missing), set in white metal. The whole thing measures 2” x 9/16”. Stamped “Czechoslov” on the back, it is in overall good condition: the stones have a couple chips, and a little abrasion, but the stones are so sparkly it’s hard to spot these. The clasp is bent over a bit, but still works just fine. We believe it’s circa 1920. Please read this...

Here is a gorgeous old Victorian brooch in the shape of a love knot, which was most likely a wedding gift to a bride. It consists of 50 old-cut diamonds, 5 rubies, and 3 pearls, all mounted on silver-topped rose gold. Weighing in at 5.7 g, it measures 1-3/4” x 7/8”. In excellent antique condition, and so lovely! This ring is centered by a lovely piece of navette-shaped lapis lazuli (traditionally a stone of royalty, also signifying truth and inner strength), with specks of pyrite for a bit of sparkle. The stone measures ¾” N to S, and ¼” E to W. The setting is made of 14k yellow gold, formed into graceful curlicues. It is stamped 14k, and also has a maker’s mark, which appears to be “KBN” and also a dot in a circle. The size is between 5-1/4 and 5-1/2, and it weighs 5.5 g or .19 oz. This is ...

This striking necklace features a central (tested) silver panel with a big labradorite cab, ¾” x 9/16”. The whole panel with dangles measures 13/16” x 1-7/8”. The dangles are set with more labradorite cabs on chains. The wearable length is 24”, and there are 20” worth of labradorite beads, many having the distinctive blue flash for which that stone is known. The clasp has a very pretty flower and leaf design, and it’s stamped 925 on the back. The beads are on knotted string, and t...

This Juliana-style pin is set with stones in purple, pink and two tones of blue, in what looks like and feels like pewter. It measures 2” x 1-1/2” and weighs 0.96oz or 27g. The large stones are prong set in open-back settings, the smaller are glued into closed-back settings. Two stones are missing, but it’s not obvious. “Juliana” was a line of jewelry created by DeLizza & Elster, between 1968 – 1969. This jewel is unsigned, which is fairly typical of Juliana. Please read this descr...

Here is a cheerful bow pin or brooch, made from blue and turquoise plique a jour with twisted wire work running through it. The colors in the photographs may be deceptive, depending on your computer monitor. The enamel over the wire spirals is turquoise, and the rest is a medium blue. Measuring 1-1/4” x 7/8", it weighs .11 oz or 3.1g. On the back it is marked with “800”, and an illegible (maker’s?) mark; we believe it is Italian. The silver on the front has a gold wash. The plique has s...

These lovely earrings have nice long dangles – the entire earring measures 1-3/4 long, and the dangle is 1-5/16”. They are just under 1/2” at the widest point. They have a charming bird and flower motif. They were sold to me as 18k, but they are unmarked and I got odd test results. This could be due to their country of origin. I have been told that earrings like this pair were made during the Victorian era in Portugal and Spain, and that they are still being made in those countries today...

Here is a sweet, simple stickpin with a design based on a Japanese family crest. It is marked “k20” on the back. The flower head measures ½ x 7/8”, and the whole pin is 2-1/2” long. It weighs 2.4g. The pin is a bit bent, not surprisingly given the high gold content (please see photos), otherwise in excellent condition. Circa 1900.
