Here is a pretty sterling buckle with a floral motif. The plique is red, 2 different blues, and green. It is signed with a “JK” above another “JK” in a box. It is has marks for London, 1886, and a duty mark. Measuring 3-1/8” x 2-1/4", it weighs 32.7g or 1.16 oz. It’s in quite good condition. The plique has a few hairlines and some bubbles, neither of which is uncommon. The red and blue plique is dark, so it’s not very visible in the photo...

Here is a very attractive locket made out of unmarked white metal. It is chased on the front in a stylized pattern (see photos), and plain on the back. The inside has some scratches, I don’t know why. The photo rings and celluloid are not present. It measures 1-1/4” x 7/8" and the paperclip chain is a bit over 22". Here is a sweet pin consisting of an oval front made from porcelain or china, and painted with pinkish-brownish flowers – roses? – and greenery. It has a border of gold, and is mounted on a backing of some kind of base metal. It measures 2-1/2” x 1-7/8”, and weighs 41.6g or 1.46oz. The C-Clasp is a bit bent, but doesn’t have any effect on it’s useability, and otherwise it is in very good antique condition...

Here is a very Victorian pin – 9 karat rose gold (unmarked but tested), wrapped in spirals around a little branch of coral. Parts of the gold have a nice engraved design. Here is a rare Art Nouveau/Victorian cross-over piece. The Victorians loved to use real insects, particularly these green beetles, in jewelry. The Nouveau jewelers loved naturalistic motifs, but generally didn’t use the insect itself – yet the design of the pin is totally Nouveau. Marked 14k, the pale gold setting contrasts nicely with the green of the beetle...

This lovely ring seems to be a Victorian reproduction, but a very well done one. The elaborate gothic prongs set off the large iolite, and there are 4 small single cut accent diamonds. The setting measures 7/8” north to south, and ¾” east to west. Size 8-1/2 approximately. It is marked 14k, and the setting is red gold.
