This gorgeous stickpin depicts a lovely woman in profile with a pearl nestled in her curls. Marked 14k, it’s made from yellow gold, and signed by the maker. It measures 2-3/8”, and weighs 2.0g or .07 oz. The pin is slightly bent, and the back is dented a little, but this doesn’t detract from the beauty of this enchanting jewel. Historical note: Mr. Blank of Whiteside & Blank was a Titanic survivor! Circa 1900...

Here is a great pair of cuff links by Belais, one of the companies who pioneered the use of white gold, and so very collectible. They are double sided, with decorated separating links, and each “end” measures 9/16” x1/2". They are marked “White Gold Front Belais 14k”, and “Talon Grip Trade Mark”. They weigh 6.1g or .21oz, and the fronts are in very good condition. A bit of reddish metal – copper? – shows through on the backs, from wear which is consistent with age. Circa 1920...

This pretty and intriguing brooch consists of a navette-shaped border of rose gold surrounding an oval of yellow gold which highlights a flower and two leaves of rose gold. It tests as 10k, although weakly in some places, and is signed “A.J.C”. Measuring 1-3/4” x 3/8”, it weighs 3.2g. In overall good condition, but it could use some cleaning up. This pin came out of an important household in Newport, RI as a gift, circa 1900...

Here is a pretty sterling buckle with a floral motif. The plique is red, 2 different blues, and green. It is signed with a “JK” above another “JK” in a box. It has marks for London, 1886, and a duty mark. Measuring 3-1/8” x 2-1/4", it weighs 32.7g or 1.16 oz. It’s in quite good condition. The plique has a few hairlines and some bubbles, neither of which is uncommon. The red and blue plique is dark, so it’s not very visible in the photo...

This lovely slide bracelet has 11 (10K & 14k) gold slides, some of which have opals and seed pearls and what looks like coral. The central slide depicts a beautiful Art Nouveau flower. The clasp is gold filled or 9k, the gold paperclip chain tests as 10k, but the round beads are hard to test beyond confirming that they are gold. One slide has a 14k hallmark and a maker’s mark, and one other has a maker’s mark, which looks like an oak leaf. It weighs in at 16.6g...

Here is a nice micromosaic brooch, possibly from Italy – in the 1800s the Italians were making these pieces for the tourist trade. This one is made of red, blue, and white tesserae, and none of them are missing, which is unusual. The setting is brass, we believe, and the whole thing is 2-5/8” x 7/16". It is signed “FAP” on the back. It’s a bit dirty, and there seems to be a break in the twisted metal decoration around the edge, but it’s barely visible without magnification...

This cutie tests as being either gold fill, or having a gold wash. Measuring ½” x 3/16”, there are Fleur de lys at each end and an oval in the middle with “BEBE,” surrounded by black enamel. The pin stem assembly is original, and it is in excellent condition. Unmarked. Please read this description and look at the photos very carefully, as we are not responsible for buyer remorse. Thanks! Here is a sweet pin consisting of an oval front made from porcelain or china, and painted with pinkish-brownish flowers – roses? – and greenery. It has a border of gold, and is mounted on a backing of some kind of base metal. It measures 2-1/2” x 1-7/8”, and weighs 41.6g or 1.46oz. The C-Clasp is a bit bent, but that doesn’t have any effect on its useability, and otherwise it is in very good antique condition. Please read this description and look at the photos very carefully, as we a...

This elegant locket is made out of (tested) 14k yellow gold. The front is partially enameled in black, with seed pearls and a floral design. The back is beautifully engraved, and the overall shape is rather unusual. Inside, both sides are set up for photos or mementos, backed up by blue fabric. It measures 1-5/8” x 3/4” and weighs 4.5g. In overall very good antique condition. Please read this description and look at the photos very carefully, as we are not responsible for buyer remorse. Tha...

These lovely earrings have nice long dangles – the entire earring measures 1-3/4 long, and the dangle is 1-5/16”. They measure just under 1/2” at the widest point. The dangles have a charming bird and flower motif. They were sold to me as 18k, but they are unmarked and I got odd test results. This could be due to their country of origin. I have been told that earrings like this pair were made during the Victorian era in Portugal and Spain, and that they are still being made in those coun...

Here is a Victorian ring with pretty scrollwork on the shank. The center decoration is a horizontal row of seed pearls, and two red stones above and below. One stone is badly chipped, and both are abraded. One of them might be a doublet, but otherwise I don’t know what they are. It is stamped 10K, and is approximately a size 8. Circa 1900. This very sparkly stunner has 2 big paste stones (7/16”), 2 smaller ones (1/4”), and 8 small accent stones (there should be 9, but one is missing), set in white metal. The whole thing measures 2” x 9/16”. Stamped “Czechoslov” on the back, it is in overall good condition: the stones have a couple chips, and a little abrasion, but the stones are so sparkly it’s hard to spot these. The clasp is bent over a bit, but still works just fine. We believe it’s circa 1920. Please read this...

Here is a sweet spoon by Unger Brothers, signed with their maker’s mark and hallmark, and “COPYRIGHT 1904”. The pattern is called Jonquil. Jonquil is the flower for those born in March, representing happiness and friendship. It measures 4-1/2”, and the bowl of the spoon is just short of 2” across. It has a nice patina, a monogrammed M or W and is in overall very good condition. Please read this description and look at the photos very carefully, as we are not responsible for buyer remor...

Here is a ring made from an Unger cuff link, with a clear maker’s mark. The decoration is a flower, possibly a poppy, and vine tendrils curling down the sides – really pretty. The cuff link portion is 13/16ths” x ½”, and the band ¼” wide. It is a size 6-1/2. In excellent antique condition with an age-appropriate patina. Note that there are camera reflections and other streaky reflections in some of the photos. Please read this description and look at the photos very carefully, as we...

This really pretty Art Nouveau framework emphasizes a lovely square-cut tourmaline (said to aid in self confidence and compassion). Below the stone is a Tudor rose, or possibly a wild rose. A little white pearl completes it. It is marked 14k, with an illegible maker’s mark. It measures ½” x 5/8" and the whole thing is 2-1/2" long. It weighs 2.9g including the gold-filled clutch. In excellent condition and C. 1900. The Tudor rose is a combination of the white rose of York and the red rose...
