Here is a sweet spoon by Unger Brothers, signed with their maker’s mark and hallmark, and “COPYRIGHT 1904”. The pattern is called Jonquil. Jonquil is the flower for those born in March, representing happiness and friendship. It measures 4-1/2”, and the bowl of the spoon is just short of 2” across. It has a nice patina, a monogrammed M or W and is in overall very good condition...

Here is a young lady, nicely realized in 14k (marked and tested) yellow gold. She is shown in profile against a textured oval background. Her hair curls around at the base of the oval, and her bangs are in slight disarray – sweet!. She measures ½” x 3/8”, with an overall length of 2-1/4”. 1.4 g. She could be cleaned up a bit – I leave that to the new owner to decide. Circa 1900 and in excellent condition...

Here is a really pretty stickpin! An Art Nouveau framework emphasizes a lovely square-cut tourmaline (said to aid in self confidence and compassion), with a gold flower below, a Tudor or wild rose. A little white pearl completes it. It is marked 14k, with an illegible maker’s mark. It measures ½” x 5/8" and the whole thing is 2-1/2" long. It weighs 2.9g including the gold-filled clutch. In excellent condition and C. 1900...

This fantastic locket is a show stopper! The front has a lovely Egyptian lady in profile, wearing a headdress – from which a few locks of hair have escaped – and hoop earrings. She is nestled within a crescent moon (symbolic of the female principal, intuition, and new beginnings). The back has a monogram, and inside it has both photo rings, but no celluloid. That could easily be fixed with plastic. Bigger than usual, it measures 1-5/8”, and weighs .77 oz or 21.8g...

This delicate little lady was made by Jean-Baptiste-Emile Dropsy, one of the famous French medalists. The design was usually made out of a heavy gold plate, but this one is 18k rosy gold, unmarked but tested. Signed by Dropsy on the front, as is usual with French medals, it measures ½” in diameter (with the jump ring, 7/8”), and weighs 1.5g. It could be worn as a pendant or a very classy charm. In excellent condition, showing a gentle patina, and Circa 1900...

This beauty is made from unmarked but tested 18k yellow gold. The flower is enameled in black, and it has a tiny central old-cut diamond. There is a little chipping to the enamel, but it’s still quite lovely. The flower measures 1/2” x ¾” and the whole thing is 2-1/2” long. C 1900. This gypsy ring is made from a lovely rich yellow 18 kt gold. The center stone is a diamond, the 2 outer stones are rubies. It has nice decorative scroll work carving on the shoulders. The hallmarks are for Chester, 1903, and there is a maker’s mark that I can’t decipher. It weighs .14 oz, and is approximately a size 5. The shank is a little off round, and it may have been sized at some time, but it is in excellent condition...

We love this pin! The colors are so pretty, and the leafy design is so very Arts & Crafts. It consists of a leaf and berry motif, highlighted by a central cushion-cut chalcedony cab (thought to bring good luck, with a circular aventurine cab on either side. Measuring 1-3/4” x 3/8", it is unmarked but tests as silver. It is in excellent condition, although the pin is a litte bent. The pin stem assembly may be a replacement, but if so, it’s quite an old repair. Circa 1900. Please read this des...

Here is a very attractive locket made from white metal. It is chased on the front in a stylized pattern, and plain on the back. The inside has some scratches, I don’t know why. The photo rings and celluloid are not present. It measures 1-1/4” x 7/8" and the cool paperclip chain is a bit over 22". The back has a few dark marks which might clean up. Generally a handsome Victorian jewel. Please read this description and look at the photos very carefully, as we are not responsible for buyer remo...

Here is a sweet ring, consisting of a flower made of 6 pearls (1 of which is a replacement), centered by a tiny rose cut diamond (confirmed with diamond tester). There is a compartment underneath, perhaps for storing a lock of hair, but the glass is gone. The ring tests as a very strong 14k, so it could be 15k. There is cobalt blue enameling on the shoulders, which I’ve had repaired – this ring was obviously well loved! And it’s still beautiful. Size 6. Early Victorian. Please read this d...

This Juliana-style pin is set with stones in purple, pink and two tones of blue, in what looks like and feels like pewter. It measures 2” x 1-1/2” and weighs 0.96oz or 27g. The large stones are prong set in open-back settings, the smaller are glued into closed-back settings. Two stones are missing, but it’s not obvious. “Juliana” was a line of jewelry created by DeLizza & Elster, between 1968 – 1969. This jewel is unsigned, which is fairly typical of Juliana. Here is a ring made from an Unger cuff link, with a clear maker’s mark. The decoration is a flower, possibly a poppy, and vine tendrils curling down the sides – really pretty. The cuff link portion is 13/16ths” x ½”, and the band ¼” wide. It is a size 6-1/2. In excellent antique condition with an age-appropriate patina.
