Here is a lovely French lavalier, measuring 1-1/8” (not including the jump ring) by 11/16”. It features 3 rose cut diamonds and 3 (cultured?) pearls. Marked only “DEPOSE”, this used to be a part of a larger piece. However, the transformation was done very skillfully, and it is in overall very good condition. There is a small dent on the upper right edge, but it’s only visible if you’re really looking for it. Circa 1900...

This beauty is made from unmarked but tested 18k yellow gold. The flower is enameled in black, and it has a tiny central old-cut diamond. There is a little chipping to the enamel, but it’s still quite lovely. The flower measures 1/2” x ¾” and the whole thing is 2-1/2” long. C 1900. Please read this description and look at the photos very carefully, as we are not responsible for buyer remorse. Thanks! Shipping, handling & insurance within the USA included.

This pendant is enameled in two shades of blue, with a pearl dangle. The front is composed of 3 panels of enamel. The outer ones are in the shape of sweet stylized hearts, in dark blue. The center is a lighter color, and the back is a lovely sky blue. Overall it is in very good condition, though the enamel on the back shows a small amount of wear on the high points. It measures 2” from the top of the bail to the bottom of the pearl. Unmarked. C. 1900...

According to some, this is St. Catherine, patroness of young maidens and female scholars. There is a (“Catherine”) wheel in the background, and a flower in the foreground. Her clothing looks very Renaissance to me. Marked “SILVER” on the C-clasp, with an illegible maker’s mark, the metal tests 90-100% silver, and she’s a dainty 7/8” in diameter. 2.5g. In excellent condition, and circa 1850...

Here is a sweet Victorian pin with the cross, anchor, and heart, symbols of faith, hope and charity. It has really nice detail work in the metal. Unmarked, but apparently made with a layer of gold on top of a layer of copper. The center of the heart is set with a (faux?) seed pearl, and the cross is set with 11 tiny turquoise-colored cabs – they are too tiny for a positive ID. It measures 1-3/16 x 7/8"...

Here is a large oval brooch with beautifully monogrammed initials (which I can’t read). It is marked “STERLING” and has an illegible maker’s mark. Measuring 3” x2-1/8”, it weighs 27.1g or .06oz. It is from the Victorian period, and is in excellent condition, but could use a bit of cleaning if you wish. Please read this description and look at the photos very carefully, as we are not responsible for buyer remorse. Thanks! Shipping, handling & insurance within the USA included.

These lovely earrings have nice long dangles – the entire earring measures 1-3/4 long, and the dangle is 1-5/16”. They are just under 1/2” at the widest point. They have a charming bird and flower motif. They were sold to me as 18k, but they are unmarked and I got odd test results. This could be due to their country of origin. I have been told that earrings like this pair were made during the Victorian era in Portugal and Spain, and that they are still being made in those countries today...

This sweet ring comes out of the Art Deco era of The Great Gatsby. The diamond is a very sparkly “transitional” diamond, i.e., between the older style of cutting and the modern round brilliant style. It weighs approximately .63 (or 63/100th of a carat), and is just really pretty. I don’t really know how to photograph diamonds, so my photos don’t do it justice. The diamond is set in platinum, and the ring shank is (marked) 14k gold. There is a maker’s mark which is too worn to read...

Here is a sky-blue enamel pendant with blue enamel dropper. It tests as silver, most likely Sterling. It has two shades of light blue enamel on the front, highlighted by silver flourishes and dots. The dropper is also enameled in shaded hues of blue. The enamel continues on the back in sky blue – so lovely! Excluding the bale, it is 1-1/2” long by just under ¾” across. There are two tiny areas of enamel damage on the back, and a few areas that could use some cleaning, but otherwise it is ...

Here is a pretty brush with repousse decorations depicting Art Nouveau lilies on its top, and fancy swirls on the handle. It measures 5-3/4” x 3". It is stamped Sterling, and there are other marks which are illegible. There is a little bit of damage to the silver at the top of the brush, which is shown in - and is actually exaggerated by – the photos. The handle has a plain area on both sides, ready for your monogram. On one side this area has some dings to it. On the other side the photos ...

This gorgeous lavalier sports a light purple amethyst (reputedly good for clarity of mind), framed by rose gold panels which could be seen as Nouveau or Arts & Crafts. You decide. It has a pearl dangle with good luster which is interestingly off-round. Measuring 1-5/8” including the pearl but not the ring, by 7/8”. The amethyst measures 3/8” x ¼”. It is marked “9ct” but tests as 10k. It weighs 2.1g and is in excellent antique condition. The chain is 16” and tests as and is marked...

Here is a pair of earrings which we had made over from a single cuff link, made c. 1920. Recycling/upcycling at its best! My jeweler came up with an ingenious way of creating these earrings – please see the photos. The backing of each (old) peacock glass setting is marked STERLING, and the (new) ear wires are sterling as well. Each cab measures 9/16” x 5/16", and the earrings hang a total of 1-1/2” each. The cufflink was an antique, so the glass shows some abrasion, but this is unnoticeabl...

Here is a sweet ring, consisting of a flower made of 6 pearls (1 of which is a replacement), centered by a tiny rose cut diamond (confirmed with diamond tester). There is a compartment underneath, perhaps for storing a lock of hair, but the glass is gone. The ring tests as a very strong 14k, so it probably 15k. There is cobalt blue enameling on the shoulders, which we’ve had repaired – this ring was obviously well loved! And it’s still beautiful. Size 6. Early Victorian. Please read this ...

This striking brooch is just lovely! It has flowers – poppies? – with curved flowing lines, mounted on a mother-of-pearl oval. Poppies have symbolized sleep (hello, Dorothy!), rest, and eternal life. The flower is silver plate, and is worn in places (I find that the worn places actually serve as highlights). The mother of pearl is convex. It measures 1-3/4” x 1-3/8”. The pin assembly is mounted on a base metal plaque, and is of the old style. It rattles a little, but is firmly in place. ...

This lovely item is a navette-shaped pin from the Arts & Crafts era. It measures 2-1/4 x 3/8”. It has a leaf and berries design, centered by a blister pearl of an intriguing shape. It is marked STERLING, and the pin-stem assembly is original. I have not cleaned it, so it has a nice patina and a little bit of tarnish. In excellent condition, and circa 1900. Here is an intriguing pin in the shape of a lyre. The gold is carved, with black enamel highlights, and dedicated to “GAO From G.V.” It measures 1-1/16” x 13/16” and weighs 3.6g or 0.13oz, with the original old pin stem assembly.
