Here is a splendid and wonderful locket depicting some sort of critter – I haven’t been able to decide what, exactly. He has a diamond in his mouth, and his eyes are red stones. Measuring 1-1/8”, and marked 10k, he is set up inside for 2 photographs with both celluloid and photo rings. He also sports a maker’s mark for Kroll. In excellent condition and Circa 1900. NOTE: the photos of the back show the color best...

We love this pin! The colors are so pretty, and the leafy design is so very Arts & Crafts. It consists of a leaf and berry motif, highlighted by a central cushion-cut chalcedony cab (thought to bring good luck, with a circular aventurine cab on either side. Measuring 1-3/4” x 3/8", it is unmarked but tests as silver. It is in excellent condition, although the pin is a litte bent. The pin stem assembly may be a replacement, but if so, it’s quite an old repair. Circa 1900...

Here is a fun Christmas tree! Enameled in green over gold-toned metal, it has 10 prong-set red rhinestones and 10 dangling bead “ornaments.” It measures 2-1/4” x 1-1/2”. There is slight enamel damage; otherwise in great condition. Made between 1960 and 1975. Please read this description and look at the photos very carefully, as we are not responsible for buyer remorse. Thanks! Shipping, handling & insurance free within the USA.

This lovely lady is made from 14k gold – there is a partial mark, so I tested it. She is framed by a stylized shell motif, and has flowers and a diamond in her upswept hair, as well as another diamond nestled in her décolletage. This watch pin or brooch is of hollow construction, and weighs 4.7g. It measures 1” x 1-1/4”. The pin stem assembly is original. Her face is a little worn in the high places, and the back has darkened in a couple places...

Here is a brooch with an ancient Celtic design – two birds with enameled wings, bodies and eyes, with interlaced silver above and below. The enamel is in green, blue, white, and red. It is marked 925 for sterling silver, and has several other marks which are illegible. 1-1/2” X 1-1/4”. There are a couple places where the enamel isn’t perfect – please see photos. Probably a more recent casting of an older piece, and very pretty...

Here is a small, charming gold-filled Victorian or Edwardian fretwork pin. It measures 15/16” x 7/8”. Somewhat worn in places, but still very pretty. Oddly, the watch hanger tests as 10k. Signed SIMMONS and RFS & Co (for the R.F. Simmons Co. of Attleboro, MA). Circa 1900. Please read this description and look at the photos very carefully, as we are not responsible for buyer remorse. This gorgeous lavalier sports a light purple amethyst (reputedly good for clarity of mind), framed by rose gold panels which could be seen as Nouveau or Arts & Crafts. You decide. It has a pearl dangle with good luster which is interestingly off-round. Measuring 1-5/8” including the pearl but not the ring, by 7/8”. The amethyst measures 3/8” x ¼”. It is marked “9ct” but tests as 10k. It weighs 2.1g and is in excellent antique condition...

This simple yet elegant ring is made from unmarked 18k yellow gold and a purplish-pink topaz. Topaz is thought to be a healing and energizing stone, to bring forgiveness, and promote truth. Sweet! The ring is a size 8, and could be resized. The topaz is set in a modified buttercup setting, with a single leaf curling up to meet the stone on either side and delicate detail work in the gold. The stone is probably a replacement, but if so it was very well done, and the color is just beautiful...

Here is a sweet garland or festoon necklace composed of seed pearls set in 10 kt gold, with two pearls built into the draping chains, and a longer pearl dangle. The whole thing measures 14-5/8” (and I have gold necklace extenders if it’s too short for you). The decorated section measures 1-1/4” x ¾” including the dangle. It is in excellent condition, but one seed pearl is missing. It’s really hard to tell - I only noticed it when I was looking at it under the microscope. Circa 1910 ...

The mix of metals makes this sash buckle quite unusual in my experience. The silver plate shows some wear - yellow metal shows through at some of the high points. We believe the gold to be about 9kt, and it’s also a plating or overlay. The buckle measures 3 x 2-1/2" and weighs in at 47.5 grams. Unmarked. In overall very good condition, except for the few worn spots already mentioned; the gold might be a little worn in a few places too – it’s difficult to tell because of the texturing. Circ...

Emeralds (birthstone for May) has been thought to preserve love, and bring wisdom. These sweet bright green emerald earrings are unmarked, but the gold tests as 14k. They are 13/16” long, and the buttercup settings measure ½” across. The stones measure 5-1/2mm across. I believe the ear wires used to have hooks to slip into, but those are long gone and the stubs filed down and smoothed over for comfort. One of the emeralds is chipped in the back, but both stones face up really well. The gol...

Here is a lovely and graceful fairy, made in the Art Nouveau style. While new, she still conveys the design ethos of a bygone era. (During the Nouveau era – roughly 1890–1915 - there were very few fairy jewels made.) She is made from 18k yellow gold, and her wings are plique a jour (translucent enamel). The colors shade from pink to almost white, and then into green. Her golden hair is accented by a round brilliant cut diamond, and at her feet is a cultured pearl dangle. The back is marked...

This beautiful piece is made from emerald-green glass and gold-toned metal. It is unmarked, but we were told it was from England. It’s approximately 5” tall and 2-3/8” across the bottom. The gold-toned lid has cut-outs in the shape of stars. It is in excellent condition, and circa 1900. This pretty and intriguing brooch consists of a navette-shaped border of rose gold surrounding an oval of yellow gold which highlights a flower and two leaves of rose gold. It tests as 10k, although weakly in some places, and is signed “A.J.C”. Measuring 1-3/4” x 3/8”, it weighs 3.2g. In overall good condition, but it could use some cleaning up. This pin came out of an important household in Newport, RI as a gift, circa 1900. Please read this description and look at the photos very care...

This classic brooch features a ribbon and flower motif, with a ring of white enamel in the center. The central pearl is most probably original, but the pearl on the dangle may be a replacement (as so many are). It is marked with the French eagle for 18k gold and partial owl marks with “73”, indicating a piece that was imported into France post 1893 and assayed in the town of Rouen. There is also what looks like a blurry French maker’s mark, oddly. It measures 1-1/2" x 1-1/4" including the ...
